Alice:
"You know you're dad is basically carrying around a light saber?"
I lift my head up from the box full of files and look at Parrish. The hell is he talking about a light saber? Wait, I think this idiot is talking about my dad's hunting stun gun. "You know you just said that last sentence outloud, Alice."
Shrugging my shoulders I aimlessly wave a hand around. "It happens sometimes. But anyway I'm glad he's finally being let out for something he didn't even do in the first place."
"How do you know he actually didn't have anything to do with it?" He questions, both of his eyebrows going up. I glare at him but refrain from yelling some curse words in the middle of a police department. Talk about unprofessional and I'd probably get so worked up I'd throw something at his head.
"Because my dad and sister are the only family I have left and I'm always with them, so I know for a fact that he has nothing to do with Katashi's death." I reply with a toothy, yet still irritated, grin.
Parrish smartly takes notices of my annoyed look and raises his hands up in mock surrender. "Alright, alright, how about we change the subject." He suggests. "What highschool did you go to? You look vaguely familiar."
"I went to alot of highschools since my family moved about two or three times a year. But the longest I stayed in was in some school down in Florida." I remark after a few seconds of mulling it over. I'm pretty sure it was near Miami because that was around the time I use to take Allison to that butterfly garden.
Parrish's face lights up with some old memory of his. "Ya I think I remember you being introduced to my math class. Either way I'd usually only hang out with all the ROTC students."
"Oh. I usually hung out with the druggies out back." I reply as if it's no big deal. His disapproving facial expression causes me to laugh. "Kidding, boy scout. My parents would have ripped me a new one if I had done drugs." And lets not forget the fact that I was Diabetic and needed insulin to be pumped into me constantly.
I feel an arm go around my waist and I almost knock a bitch out. But lucky for Derek I manage to catch his scent before swinging. "I'd introduce you two but I'm fairly certain you've become great friends during your incarceration." I don't both holding back my amused smile and pat Derek's arm. "Well I'm off for the day, Parrish--"
"Jordan."
"How about we settle with boy-scout and I'll see you tomorrow." I suggest, making him give me a mock eye roll before waving goodbye and walking away.
"And I'd suggest you don't sneak up on me unless you actually want a kick to the face." I turn to Derek and gesture to his arm around me. He finally lets go of my waist but only to grab my hand tightly before leading the way to the exit.
I tug his hand harshly back and cause him to come to a halt. "What the hell is up your ass? You're acting like a complete. . .wait are you jealous?" I ask in an amused tone. "Oh my god is that way you didn't answer your phone for two days after the Winchesters left?"
"What'd you except after I happened to witness your 'conversation' with the man that you supposedly are only friends with." He shoots me an annoyed glare, but I've had boyfriends before and I can see the same spot of jealousy in his eyes. "It took me this long to get you to be my girlfriend so I'm not about to let someone else screw that up."
"Aww how sweet your watching over me like a possessive stalker." I coo, trying my best not to snicker. "But you don't have to worry or watch over me for the matter. I do however think it's kinda hot when you get jealous because you tend to subconsciously flex alot." He gives me a smirk in response to the compliment before I lead the way to the car.
