Narti was in her room changing into her special armor, as she was changing though she heard Will walking down the hall and into his room. What caught her attention though was that she didn't hear the door close, she began to go curious thinking back to the scares that were on wills arm. She let her curiosity get the best of her, as she opened her door and had kova walk out to wills room. She didn't think that Will knew about her using kova to see so hopefully she wouldn't suspect a thing. As kova continued forward, narti was able to see will beginning to remove his shirt. She gasped in shock at what she saw, not at his muscles, but at the multiple scares all over his body. There was no way that those were causing by some accident, they looked like precise cuts. As Will turned around though she saw something that made things a little clear. Right there in the center of wills chest was the galra insignia, it wasn't a tattoo though it was a branding scar. She was shocked, that kind of scar was a way to identify you as a prisoner of galra. She had seen it happen a few times, whenever the galra captured someone they would always brand them on some part of the body. She felt a wave of guilt wash over her, as she remembered how she used to watch people get branded and feel nothing. As she stood there though she noticed Will now equipping his armor, still not aware of kova. Narti decided to call back kova, since she didn't want Will to notice. After she finished putting her armor on, she sat on the bed wondering what to do. She now had an idea of what happened to Will, but she wasn't sure if she should try talking to him about it. She then heard will's door close and the sound of him walking down the hall. She began to wonder why she was feeling like this, so nervous around one person. She had never had this problem while she was with the empire, but now it was so different. Narti felt the ship begin to take off, as she decided to just clear her head and maybe talk to Will.

As she left her room, she began to wonder how Will got those scars. Sure he could have got them from the gladiator matches, but they seemed to precise for battle scars. As she reached the cockpit, she saw Will putting in the coordinates and plotting the course to the base. Will then noticed her and smiled as he continued to work at the controls. "Hey narti, we'll have to fly a bit before we can warp. Then we'll be at the base before you know it." He said as he began to steer the ship. *um, ya. Hey Will could I ask you something.* she said a little nervously. "Sure, ask me anything you want." He said as he continued to look forward. *i-i was just wondering where you got those scars?* she asked, as Will seemed to stop his movements and go stiff. *I saw earlier you had a few scares on you arm, I'm sorry I-I was just looking and I noticed then and I got curious.* she said in a panicked tone, worried that she had made him upset. Will just sat there silent, just piloting the ship. Narti felt bad, she had made him upset again, but why was she so worried about what he was feeling. He eventually spoke but didn't turn to look at narti. "I have a bit of a, troubled past, you don't have to worry about it ok." He said in a monotone voice. Narti was relieved that Will responded, but still upset that she his a sore spot for him. She just sat down in silence as Will just steered the ship. Narti just pet kova until Will asked her a question. "Hey narti, if you don't mind me asking, how exactly are you able to see." He ask a little less monotone. Narti was a bit nervous at the question, had he seen her face and if so how much. "Sorry if it a touchy subject I was just curious and, you know what never mind forget I asked." He quickly said a little nervousness in his voice. Narti sat there silent, but decided to answer. *I use kova.* she responded which surprised Will a bit. "Really, h-how do you do that." He ask a little hesitant at first. *it's similar to the mental link I made between us, but while ours will always be active, for kova I have to reconnect with him each after I sleep or lose consciousness. I link my mind with his, allowing me to see everything he sees.* she said as she scratched kova behind the ears causing him to purr. "Hm, so that's why you keep him around. I thought he was like a guide for you or something." He said as he turned to look at her. *in a way he is, he helps me see the world around me. When I was younger I never knew what the work looked like. But the galra learned about my ability, using kova as a test subject. And since then he's been my eyes, helping me see the world around me.* she said in a happy tone as kova rubbed up against her. Will smiled as he looked at narti and kova, but he was broken from his thoughts as he heard the alert that they had reach the location of where to warp. "Alright this is it, remember we get in and get out as fast as possible." Will said while turning to narti. She simply nodded yes, as Will then turned and activated the ships warp drive.
