One of a kind find

An old friend

Currently wills ship was flying through empty space, on the out side it looked fine but the inside not so much. Will was in the engine room trying to make a temporary fix until the reach the closest planet for repairs. As he tightened another bold the engine began to make a humming noise. Will started to smile, until the engine started to make clanking sounds and then a huge cloud of smoke formed. Will quickly rushed out of the now smoke filled room, holding a cloth over his mouth as he started coughing. "Ah, damn. If I don't fix this engine soon we might not even be able to get to the nearest planet." Will said to him self, as he then closed the door and activated the filters. It would take some time for the room to get fully filtered out, so Will decided to make some for for him and narti. As will climbed the ladder and entered the living space he was surprised to see narti in the kitchen. She was wearing a simple grey hoodie with baggy sweatpants. Kova was on the counter facing narti as she was cooking something. As Will careful and quietly approached he could smell something delicious. Once he got to the counter he simply watched as narti cooked, he wasn't sure what it was but she seemed a lot more happy. He could see a smile on her face that the hoodie couldn't hide and her tail slowly swaying back and forth. He was glad she was happy, he's noticed that she's been on edge lately so it was good to see her relaxed. "Tell me chef what's on the menu today." Will said in a joking tone that caused narti to jump a little as she didn't know Will was behind her. *oh Will, I didn't know you were there. I uh, I just wanted to make you something since you've been busy.* she said in a soft tone as she stirred what ever was in the pan. "Hm, well thank you narti, and I must say it smells great." Will said with a smile, as narti just smiled back and continued cooking. After a few minutes narti finished the food and served some to Will. Will examined the food, it looked very similar to the meal he made her for the first time. Scrambled eggs with bacon and toast, the only difference was that the eggs looked like they were seasoned and had some other stuff in it. Will grabbed his fork and scooped some of the food, as he then quickly put the food in his mouth. Once he did he realized that it tasted amazing, way better than what he made. *hm, I see you like it, I'm glad.* narti said as she just smiled, glad that Will enjoyed the meal. "Ya it's great, we're did you learn to cook anyway, I thought you were a galra soldier?" Will said as he continued to eat the food. *I was a general I'll have you know, and besides if you don't know how to cook a proper meal while stranded somewhere you'll be in some serious trouble.* narti said in a sassy tone as she served herself some food. "Ya guess you're right, even so this isn't you need to survive meal. This is like something you get in a palace." Will said as he took another bit. As narti was about to take a bit she froze at what Will said, as she remembered something from her past.

Flashback...

We see narti walking along side one of haggar's masked figures, only she was much young, most likely around the age of 5-6. She was wearing grey clothes with some ripped spots. She was holding onto the cloaked figures cloak as they walked, as she didn't have kova with her. After a bit the cloaked figure stopped as he placed a hand on her shoulder. "Stay here." They said in an empty tone. Narti just nodded as the cloaked figure opened a door and walked threw it. Narti just stood there as she heard the large metal in front of her close. After a while of standing there narti walked over to the side to the hallway to sit down. As she sat there she heard multiple different sounds throughout the hall, the sound of metal foot steps, whispering voices, and doors opened and closing. There was one sound that was unfamiliar to her, it was the sound of small foot steps. As the steps got closer she could almost hear a purring noise. Narti could then feel something soft and furry rube against her. She flinched at the sudden touch but slowly reached out to touch the creature. When she reached out though the creature moved into her hand, as narti then began to pet the creature it started to purr. Narti could feel all her nervous feelings fade away, as she pet this mysterious creature. After a bit though she could hear something running down the hall, along with someone shouting. "Kova, kova where are you." Said a young boy as his voice and steps began to grow closer. Narti could then hear him running towards her until he stopped in front of her. "Kova there you are, hm who are you?" The boy said to narti. He sounded close to narti's age but she couldn't fully tell. The boy got a little closer causing narti to back up and press against the wall. "Don't be afraid, here let's be friends, what's your name." The boy said in an happy tone. While narti stayed silent, the boy sighed as he carefully grabbed narti's hand. "Here I'll introduce myself, my name is lotor, now what's your name." The young lotor said.
