Izuku's POV ♣

It's been an hour since we escaped. Everything went horribly. I lost my things, my school, my Notebook. I sighed sadly and drank the bottle of water they gave me. The notebook... I lost it...

I sighed, watching the flames devour our campus. Flames... It strangely reminded me of that moment...

Allmight and I just finished our training. It's been a week ever since he started training me. After training, Allmight even fought off a villain! It was so cool!

Should I tell Kacchan about this? Well, Allmight told me to keep it a secret. But Kacchan has been teasing me again. Oh well, when we go to the hero school together, he'll know I'm not quirkless anymore.

Though everything went well, Allmight lost all of his strength. Poor Allmight... he seemed to have given it all for that villain. But that's what a great hero does right?

As we continued to walk further, we saw a couple of heroes staring at something. Allmight transformed, even though Allmight knows he can't do anything anymore.

I was baffled. He might die at this rate! "Allmight, you have no energy left!" I shouted.

Allmight ignored me and said, "stay back, young Midoriya. If they're just staring at something, it must be dangerous."

He went over to the group of heroes and there we saw... "Kacchan!" I cried out. The heroes just stood there. 'Why aren't they doing anything? Why doesn't Allmight- '

Allmight flinched. I knew he was at his limit. He's trying to hold back so he wouldn't transform back. The heroes aren't doing anything! I decided to try to save Kacchan. As I ran forward, a few heroes stopped me.

"Kid, that villain won't go down with hand-to-hand battles. We also can't use long-ranged attacks or else the kid will get hurt."  A hero said.

What are they doing?! If they won't do anything then he'll be even MORE shown urt!

"Wait for reinforcements, don't take matters on your own hands kid. You're just a civilian." Another person said.

"Please, do something! save him!" I tried to run forward, only to get held back. "Kacchan!" I exclaimed, tears welling up, threatening to spill from my eyes.

He struggled, as I watched, doing nothing but crying. Allmight backed away, I know he's on his edge but... What about Kacchan?

Soon, flames erupted and melted the sludge villain. The number two hero Endeavor came! His fire's too strong! He'll hurt Kacchan! The fire was everywhere. The flames were too bright, I was forced to look away and close my eyes. When I opened them, I saw Kacchan...

"Condolences." One of aunt Mitsuki's friends said. We just buried Kacchan today. To be honest, I almost held a grudge against heroes. But mom convinced me that they couldn't do anything.

But what hurt me more, was that I didn't do anything. What would I do now... Now that Kacchan's gone?

"Midoriya." I heard a voice say, snapping me out of my trance. "Are you okay?" Todoroki-kun asked. I nodded yes, and smiled.

I then heard a loud thud and coughing. When I turned to look at where the sound came from, it was... "Shinsou! Kaminari!"

To those who didn't understand, the ones in italics were flashbacks.

And due to plot reasons, I changed the date when Deku got noticed by Allmight. if you're asking if the heroes could've done something, yeah. The heroes just aren't thinking hard enough.

But hey, look at the bright side! Tomura was wandering the streets too and nobody spared him a glance, so technically they are both "they didn't give a fuck about me" buddies!
