Izuku's POV♣

I'm going to visit Kacchan's grave today. I'm sure he'll be glad that I came. It's been a long time and I haven't visited him these past few weeks. I was super busy and I didn't have time for him. And since today is Saturday, and there is no extra work to do, I finally have time to visit him.

The last time I visited, I introduced him to my pet goldfish named "Fish-might". It died. I was studying and I forgot to feed him, so... Anyways, This time, of course, I'll introduce him to humans! Uraraka, Todoroki, and Iida.

I met them when I entered UA! I made friends with them quickly and everything went smoothly for us. Todoroki-kun wasn't so on board with the whole friendship idea. He even considered me as his rival. But when it comes to friendship, I won't take no for an answer. When I told them that I wanted them to meet my childhood friend, I didn't tell them he was dead. Of course, at first, they were super confused. They didn't know why I brought them to a cemetery. I'm sure they pretty much get it now.

"We're here!" I exclaimed happily as I sat down. "Sorry I took so long Kacchan! I was busy." I said before getting rid of a few stray leaves that disrespectfully made Kacchan's grave look dirty.

"So this is your childhood friend, Midoriya?" Iida asked as I nodded. "I see..." He shifted his glasses.

"When you told us that you wanted us to meet your friend, we didn't expect this." Uraraka patted my back. "I'm sorry for your loss Midoriya." Uraraka said, sitting on the grass with me.

Todoroki nodded and said a simple "condolences" while stepping closer to read Kacchan's name. "Katsuki Bakugou?... The sewage-water villain's victim?" Todoroki asked.

Iida immediately made hand motions. "Todoroki, the villain isn't a sewage-" Iida was then interrupted.

"Yep! I tried to save him but it was no use. The heroes couldn't do anything either." I frowned a little, quickly replacing it with a smile. "I want to be a hero so there would be no more people to have the same fate as Kacchan! I'm sure Kacchan can beat me, so if I become number one, it means he's becoming number one with me!" I exclaimed, earning smiles from my friends.

"That's very sweet of you Midoriya I'm sure that your friend is so proud of you right now." Uraraka said, giving me a close-eyed smile.

"I'm sure you'll make a great hero someday, all you have to do is work hard." Iida added, doing his signature hand motions.

Todoroki hummed,  saying, "You won't be number one if I become number one first." Todoroki said, offering his hand to help me stand. "Let's go now, Midoriya. It would be a nuisance if the dorms will lock down on us." Todoroki-kun kept his neutral face, as I nodded and took his hand.

"Goodbye Kacchan! I'll visit again soon!" I waved goodbye, as I walked away with my friends.

"I'll be a hero for the both of us Kacchan. I won't disappoint you." I thought to myself, side-glancing at Kacchan's grave. "I will make you proud."
