Izuku's POV ♣

With a yawn, I sat up from my bed- wait, I'm not in bed. Anyways, I got up from my desk and decided to take a shower. After taking a bath, I put on my uniform and went to school.

It was a peaceful day. With birds chirping around me, and flowers showing off their beauty everywhere, could this day get any more perfect? It was still pretty early, and I was sure I would've been the first one to arrive. Much to my surprise, I wasn't.

Kaminari Denki had earphones on. Listening to music, while his feet are on his desk. Oh boy, I could only imagine Iida's anger when he sees this.

Kaminari noticed me and took his feet off the desk. "Hey Midoriya!" He greeted with a smile.

"Good morning Kacchan." I greeted back.

"Say, what made you early today? You're usually later than the others." I asked.

"I wanted to see how shocked you guys will be. Sort of like a prank." He answered.

I smiled at Kaminari's antics. Even at this time, he's still thinking of pranks.

The door opened once again, revealing a shocked Iida.

"Kaminari! Did you finally realize the importance of  punctuality? I'm so prou-"

"nah, I wanted to mess around with you." Kaminari cut him off. I giggled at the sight, seeing Iida's expression turn disappointed.

Then, behind Iida, appeared Todoroki. He just stared at Kacchan before sitting on his seat, followed by Iida doing the same.

Slowly, people started to arrive and fill the room, with my classmates going on groups and chatting with each other.

Of course, the one to enter the room last, was Mr.Aizawa. "settle down children. It's time for class." He said.

"Today, we're going to talk about consciousness." Mr.Aizawa said before yawning. He continued his lecture with, "As a hero, Consciousness is important. Not only being physically conscious during battle, but also having consciousness of your actions and it's consequences." He paused to sit down his seat. "Who can give me an example of a time when a hero needs to use this?" He asked, as almost all of us raised our hand.

Mr.Aizawa scanned the room before picking... "Kaminari."

"When a hero lost all his power and has to choose between one's life and his own."
Kaminari said.

"Correct. At that time, the said hero would have to choose. To save a life, or to save himself. What would happen if he decided to save himself, Kaminari?"

"It simply means he's flawed." Kaminari answered.

"What if I say what he did was the right thing?

"Then you're also flawed."

"By saving his life, he would also save others."

"but what if he can finish the villain off with one blow?"

"What if he can't?"

"What if he's Allmight?"

"What if he's not?"

Suddenly, the lecture turned into a debate between Aizawa-sensei and Kacchan.

"A hero should think of the future and the lives he can save, should he?" Asked Mr.Aizawa.

"But the definition of a hero, it means saviour. Does it, Aizawa-sensei? Does it matter if you die? Being selfish and not saving someone is the cruelest thing ever. Say, if it was Allmight. If you knew he could do something, but he still didn't save a life, won't he not be a hero by then?" Answered Kaminari.

Mr.Aizawa hummed before saying, "good job. You're correct." Their discussion seemed oddly familiar. But I can't point it out. Maybe... Nevermind.
