(Cast ^^^, the characters in this book are in no way a representation of the actors in reality. They just fit the looks of what I had in mind.)

Aubrey Cooper was always known as the shy girl, she hated that and was bullied for it. She begged her parents to let her switch schools in the 3rd grade. In the forth grade she finally made some friends, she was shy around them at first but in 5th grade she was completely comfortable. She started playfully teasing her friends and then they considered her as rude and not very polite. Her friends still loved her company but they knew to not tick her off. She started to gain a reputation for that. To everyone else she was a shy girl but they knew they shouldn't tease her about it because they would get hurt.
Ben Mckinnon was smart. That's all his group of friends really knew about him, the popular kids. They new Ben wanted to be like them so they were hiass friends so they wouldn't have to do any work and just copied off him. Ben knew that he was being walked all over, he just couldn't help it. He had been the smart kid for forever, how could he change now. He tried to hide his answers as best he could from his 'friends' but they could always convince him to help. 12th grade wasn't any different for them. Their lives never intertwined though they have gone to the same school since 4th grade. He was in the popular group, and she was in her own group of not well known people.

"Aubrey, you okay?" One of her friends asked. Lillian Davis, she was Aubreys first friend at her new school. Lillian was smart but a little obnoxious about it, anytime she did better than everyone in the friend group she would point out their mistakes. She meant well but others couldn't really stand her. Aubrey was smart as well and her and Lillian would get into debates often.

"I'm fine." She said in a way to hide her feelings

"Are you sure?" Lillian asked as another friend nudged her. Elizabeth Henson, she was crazy, Aubreys best friend. She was obsessed with boys but at least it wasn't in an obnoxious way. She wasn't to bright as she met Aubrey because Aubrey had to tutor her. She would often talk about her celebrity crushes, which she had many of.

"C'mon, you know better than to ask that." Samantha said laughing at Lillian. Samantha Winote, she tried to be popular and failed, so she ended up in this group. She was also obsessed with her crushes. She also talked about her crushes obnoxiously. She had so many crushes, it helped that she was bisexual. She would constantly try and get the group to do TikToks with her to post to her 52,000 fans.

"Guys, chill. It's the first day of the last year of high school." Aubrey said

"M'kay, how 'bout this one?" Samantha asked showing her friends the hundredth picture.

"Sam, they all look the same. Just pick one to post, no one cares." I said

"But I need a boyfriend or a girlfriend." She whined as Lillians boyfriend came over

"Hows a picture supposed to help?" Elizabeth asked

"People from our school see these pictures and they might like what they see, right Alex?" Samantha asked him as he put his arm around Lillian

"I mean, sure." He said. Alexander Fletcher, he was Lillian's debate opposition on the debate team and Aubrey's kindergarten husband. Him and Lillian started dating in 10th grade after he asked her to the snowball. He had his group of friends but he often joined his girlfriends group because she didn't want to leave her friends.

"What's you first class?" Lillian asked her boyfriend

"Uhh, geography." Alexander said knowing he had most of his classes with his girlfriend

"Yay." She squealed as the group made their way inside and splitting up at the entrance. Aubrey made her way to Home room passing through the people goofing off in the hallways as she dodged basket balls and the new kids with their huge bags trying to find their lockers. Aubrey shoved her stuff into her locker and gabbed her books and binders and headed further down the hall. She learned from last year and took a seat near the front so she could see. She saw people she knew from last year and some she didn't. Then she saw her crush since 7th grade, Nathan Leonard. He was popular and cool, he made her feel giggly on the inside. She was always nervous around him because if she giggled that would be a sign of weakness which she learned she needed to cover up in order to not be bullied. He sat at the back of the class with his friends, he was in her row just 3 rows back. Her friends couldn't know she liked boys either, she told no one. If people found out she actually liked someone she would be teased so anytime her friends asked her who her crush is she would always say pizza, just to make them laugh. The teacher gathered everyone's attention to him. He knew this was going to be a tough year, it always is when he's would teach 12th graders, they were okay breaking rules because it would probably be their last year here. By the end of homeroom he was already done with teaching, he felt as though he couldn't do it anymore but he perked up knowing he was teaching 11th graders next. Aubrey made her way to her next class, Math, and once again sat near the front. Although she was in the second row she couldn't see, the person in front of her was tall, at least taller than her and she liked to consider herself average height. Ben had rushed into class a touch late because his homeroom teacher was saying that the bell doesn't dismiss them, she does. The last spot there was in the front row. He loved math, but he wished to sit with his friends, plus popular people don't typically sit in the front. The math teacher was not uptight at all, she made jokes the whole time. Most of the class found this amusing while only four found it annoying, Aubrey, Lillian, Alexander and Ben, they thought it was a waste of time. Aubrey quickly raised her hand when the teacher asked if there were any questions.
