Andy and Miguel woke up bright and early together, only this time, Andy was in his bed rather than the floor. Both were so close that it wasn't awkward, even if they did wake up spooning. Andy ended up borrowing his shirt, so she didn't have to go all the way home to get dressed. The two went to school, excited for afterwards as they would head to the dojo for training. Andy's dad had yet to learn that Miguel could do Karate again.

After school, the two waved to Eli and Demetri before running off, Miguel in his bike and Andy on her skateboard. By the time they made it to the dojo, they were beaming. The two ran inside, the bell on the door jingling as they did. Johnny walked out of the back office, looking surprised at the two.

"My mom says I can train again." Miguel said quickly.

"She did?"

"Yeah. I mean if we still have the dojo." Miguel motioned around him to the black and red dojo.

"We do for now." Johnny approached. Andy grinned like crazy, wanting to jump around and dance.

"But I need to know, are you ready to take things the next level?"

"Yes, Sensei."

"You got your ass kick because you didn't have any defense, so I'm gonna teach you the best defense you can know." Johnny circled the two.

"Verbal? Make them cry?" Andy smirked at her small joke.

"What? no. The best defense- Hai!" Johnny pretended to punch Miguel, to which the younger didn't even flinch. "Is more offense."

These two were in for some hard weeks.

The next few weeks were pure hell. Miguel and Andy trained and trained and trained and trained. Miguel was knocked down over and over again, but always got right back up.

He even managed to start doing push-ups.

This particular day was a day of sparing. Andy already had her turn with Miguel and now it was her fathers. The younger boy had the upper hand, fighting until his last breath. Instead of playing fair, Johnny clicked the button on the baseball machine that shot out baseballs and one hit Miguel straight in the ear.

"What the hell?" He mumbled, falling to the floor. Andy rushed over, trying to inspect the ear to make sure he didn't seriously damage his skull. "That wasn't fair." He whimpered.

"You want a fair fight? Dream on. Your enemies won't always play by the rules." Johnny got up from the floor and spoke.

"Yeah but my ear-" Miguel whimpered, still holding his ear in pain.

"What if that baseball was your enemy's friend coming at you from behind?" Miguel slowly got up from the floor, listening with his good ear. "You have to be prepared for everything."

"That was unnecessary." Andy gave her dad a disappointed look. "Let me see."

Miguel removed his hand to expose a rapidly growing bruise, one that was already turning purple. Both Johnny and Andy cringed at the sight.

"No, it's fine. Don't be a baby." Johnny dismissed it. Andy gave him a look of disbelief as the door jingled and opened. In stepped in many woman, who all held yoga mats.

"Hello. It's five o'clock twilight is upon us." Andy gave the woman a weird look at her words and looked at her father.

"What's going on?" Miguel asked.

"I had to sublet the dojo for a few hours." Johnny explained. "Just until we get more students."

"We need to change the energy here." Then the woman covered up the cobra kai motto with a banner that read some mombo-jumbo bull.

Miguel and Andy walked off, unable to watch the woman stretch and talk about poses.

"I'm gonna head out. Gotta meet up with an old friend. I'll see you guys later." Andy said goodbye to her father and friend and quickly walked out before the yoga woman could ask her to join them.

In truth, she was going to meet up with someone she hadn't seen in a long time but he wasn't only a friend but her brother. Nobody really knew that Robby and Andy had contact with each other. They met up every once and a while and texted almost everyday, so it was a normal sibling relationship.

Today the two decided to meet up at a local burger joint for dinner, something they did monthly. It took Andy 20 minutes to get there, and found one of her favorite people outside.

"Hey!" A smile formed on Robby's face at the sight of his sister,

"Hey you." He grinned and hugged the small girl. She laughed and hugged back, obviously happy. The two teens walked inside, greeting their regular waiter and sitting down.

"How is everything?" The girl asked, looking at her brother.

"Uh, kind of okay. My mom just left on some trip with some guy...so I'm alone if you want to come over for a sleepover one night." That was a rare occasion.

"Definitely! Who's the guy?"

"No clue, she dude i've never even heard of." He shrugged.

"Typical."

The waiter finally made his way over, greeting the two and taking their orders which never changed. Once he was gone, they got back to it.

"How's dad?" Robby tried hard to seem like he didn't care but Andy could obviously see he did.

"Better than ever actually. Haven't seen him this happy since my elementary school graduation." Both teens laughed at the memory. That was one of the rare occasions that all three got together, and it was one fun day until Johnny got drunk and left the two unsupervised.

The two siblings talked and laughed for hours. They didn't care when it got late, they just kept going. They talked about school and their friends and their messed up parents whom they still loved. Half their conversations would of made anyone else concerned.

They were just two people catching up.
