Andy wasn't 100% what was going to happen that night. There was a lot of alcohol and it kind of scared her. They were young and she had no idea how her dad would react to her drinking. But she still had a beer in her hand as she talked with Hawk and Aisha. Eventually Hawk sort of toned out for a minute until Andy turned to find out why.
He was looking at something at the top of the hill...or more like someone. Andy's face fell when she saw it was Moon, one of the popular girls. But her dad didn't raise a pushover. So what did she do? She smacked him the stomach.
"What?" He looked at her confused.
"Seriously?" She scoffed and walked away. The table where all the drinks sat looked inviting. One shot couldn't hurt.
The alcohol kind of toned out the ache of her heart. It hurt to see him look at someone else the way he looked at her. Did he not say I love you?
Turning around, Andy spotted Miguel throwing a bottle of beer down, grabbing another from the cooler. He chugged that one in one go.
"You okay?" He threw down the second bottle and looked at her.
"Peachy."
The two spent the whole night together. Andy was pissed at Hawk for looking at Moon, so she stayed by her friends side. He was also worrying her with how much he was drinking.
She walked away for a minute, feeling bad about how she ignored Hawk. But she did spot Demetri.
"Hey, you seen Hawk?" He looked at her in a panic before grabbing her and placing her right in front of him.
"You know I think he was over this way a minute ago?" He pointed away, his head close to hers. He seemed frantic.
"You okay, D?" She laughed at his awkward state.
"Yes I'm great. Amazing. Fantastic. You should go over there." He shoved her in the direction he pointed to. Andy laughed and turned around to say more...
and froze.
On a log that Andy had dragged over for people to sit on, was her boyfriend making out with Moon. Her stomach dropped and she just stared. Her mind felt fuzzy, her body heavy.
"A...I'm so sorry." She came back to reality when Demetri spoke.
"I'm...I'm good." With that, she turned and walked away.
It hurt, it hurt bad. He had cheated on her. He told Andy he loved her and cheated on her. She felt like sobbing. But again, Daddy didn't raise no whimp. So she threw back another shot and went to find her two other friends.
Meanwhile, Demetri approached Hawk.
"You know, I've never been so disappointed in you. Not with the hair, not with the tattoo or Cobra kai. Right here and now." He sat down next to him.
"Don't tell Andy." Hawk demanded, glancing around for her.
"Oh I didn't have to. She saw it herself."
"What?" Hawk snapped his head over to his friend.
"Oh yeah. She was looking for you and saw it. Not sure where she went. But buddy I think you're out of a girlfriend." Demetri patted him on the shoulder sarcastically.
"Hey." Andy was grabbed by the shoulder. "You good?"
It was Aisha, looking at her in concern.
"Absolutely fucking wonderful." The girl said sarcastically and turned away. She sighed, realizing how mean that sounded. "I'm sorry, just, not really in the mood right now."
