Karla POV
————————
A meeting was called to discuss the human crimes committed against the supernatural. Adrien and I have visited the humans to fix amends, but we were given the contrary of compassion. We believed that humans cannot be punished if they do not know of their wrongfulness. What the humans did was wrong, but everyone deserves a second chance, but Layla and Massimo don't believe in second chances. A part from me wanted the humans to suffer greatly but all humans shouldn't have to suffer for their leaders' negligence.

I stepped out of the car and walked towards the edge of the cliff where the view of the city below took my breath away. I glazed towards the sky and sighed loudly. I heard the tree branches crumble and break under Adrien's feet as he approached me.

"It has to be done my love," Adrien said squeezing my hand.

it was like he could sense my uneasiness. I dreaded this moment because it took my mother and father decades and arguments to be able to drop our barriers and allow humans to see the truth.

"I know, I know," I said looking at our interlocked hands.

he drew little circle with his thumb on my hand i let out a soft sigh and peer over the hill we stood on that gave us a good view. Not only is this decision going to do good, but it's also going to do bad for the witches and warlocks who built connections with humans. I let out a soft sigh and peered over the hill we stood on that gave us a good view. The sun was setting just behind the horizon, children running up and down streets with smiles across their faces. Porch lights began to flicker on, and children began to run home for dinner and dared not to be late. I rubbed my tummy imagining Scarlett running around freely safely in the barriers but will grow to be curious of what lies behind the barriers. I feel Adrein hand slowly slip away.

"Meoblitero" Adrien said holding out his hands.

It looked like nothing happened, but you can feel the energy around us change just in the slightest way possible, but that is further from the truth everything changed, every memory of the supernatural was wiped, any bond built was broken. Adrien lowered his hands and pulled me closer to him. He wrapped his arms around me and placed his head on the top of mine and inhaled deeply.

"Massimo is going to throw a fit when he hears about this," I said softly as I hugged him.

I inhaled his cologne it made me calmer and less anxious. In his arms I felt safe and reassured almost like everything was going to be okay. I suddenly felt a kick, Scarlett loved whenever her father would talk to her or when he would hug me, she would go crazy.

"I know he is, but he has to get over it sooner or later," Adrien said hugging me tightly.

Scarlett began to move like crazy and Adrein felt this and began to caress my tummy he crouched down and began to talk to Scarlett, and she began to kick more, Adrein looked up at me with amusement in his eyes no matter how many times Scarlett does this it still amuses him. I begin to zone out and start to ponder the question, did we do the right thing We did the right thing. We did the right thing. Did we do the right thing?

-

It's been a couple weeks since we wiped the human minds, and I have come to the conclusion that we did what had to be done to save innocent lives. I know they would be capable of killing innocent children and now that I bear my own, I couldn't go on knowing children will suffer. Walking closer towards the house hidden behind the invisible barrier I began to grow more worried. Adrien on the other hand was emotionless, he held my hand as he walked the way he looked sent chills down my spine reminding me of how cold and ruthless he was before I met him. We all gathered around the round table with Layla Lilith, queen of vampires and second in command Mark. Massimo King the Alpha King and their and Cameron.
