Scarlett's POV
"Hello darling I've brought this lovely tea," Lilly said entering my room with a tray with a teacup and a side of sugar cubes
"Lilly I told you she might be a coffee type of gal," Nina said coming through the door and plopping down on the edge of the bed
"I don't mind," I said sitting up
"This tea is made with special herbs from my kitchen window garden thingy I have no idea what's it called my daughter got it for me on my birthday," Lilly said placing the tray next to me
"The wolves and vamps are out and about exploring the land," Lily said sitting on the chair next to my bed
"Everyone looks in love or something wear because they got this look," Nina said wiggling her eyebrows
I let out a smile laugh
"They are mates," I said grading the tea from my nightstand
"Whaaaaa no way," Lilly said crossing her arms in disbelief
"Wait that's cute," Nina said
"Yeah I just met everyone yesterday," I said taking a long sip of the tea
"Oh how lovely, well me and Lilly got to go I left the soup cooking don't want to set the house on fire-" Nina said standing up
"Again," Lilly said getting up
I let out a soft laugh
"That tea should get you up and about in like an hour or so honey, take care," Lilly said kissing the top of my head
"Refrain from fighting any demons anytime soon," Nina said sternly but failed because we both ended up bursting into uncontrollable laughter
"Bye," I said softly as they left
Once again I'm left with utter silence
"Hey hey queeeeennn," Max said jogging through the door and plopping onto the end of my bed
Behind her followed Aurora, Blair, Alejandro, Nathen, Samuel, and Acacias
" I got to say your land is bigger than our pack grounds," Aurora said plopping next to Max
" So how was the tour," I asked them while taking a long sip of tea
"Fun I think, oh we almost sacrificed Max," Aurora said laughing loudly
"What-"
" the puddle of black slime" Alejandro said cutting me off
"Oh that's a prison where one suffers the most mental and physical pain," I said setting down my teacup
Max sits up and punches Aurora, Aurora just laughed even harder
I smiled
" In about an hour I'll be good to be out and about," I said covering myself with my sheets
"Can I speak to Acacias alone for a moment please?" I asked
Acacias looked at me in shock and confusion
"Yeah for sure I'm pretty sure I saw cake pops in the fridge y'all in?" Blair said
"Hell yeah," they all said together
They all rushed out of the room I them looked at Acacias and patted my bed as a signal for him to sit down
"I want to apologize to you," I said sighing
I'm not good with talking about emotions
"I pushed you away and hurt you instead of talking with you-" I looked down because I couldn't stand looking him in the eyes
"Abaddon he is ruthless and he always keeps his promise and I thought I'd I kept you at arm's length you'd be fine along with everyone else but-" I started to fiddle with my ring
" it didn't work-"I said lowly
" I mean clearly" I laughed looking up in attempts to stop the tears from falling
" my mom is dead and my dad thinks I hate him and you probably hate me for," I said looking back down
"I would never hate you, yeah your words hurt me a bit but I would never hate you," Acacias said cutting me off
He lifted my chin to look at him
"You are my mate whether you like it or not-"
"I'm stuck with you," I said laughing as the tears fall down my cheek
"Yeah yeah no returns," Acacias said chuckling while wiping my tears
"I missed you," I said softly
"I missed you too" he placing a soft kiss on my cheek
"Aurora," Bruno said barging in through the door
"Ughh get out," I said lifting my hand with that Bruno flew out hitting his back on the wall in the hallway
"Industrvi," I said loudly than the door shuts quickly
"That's one way of getting rid of him," Acacias said chuckling
"Now where were we," Acacias said pinning me against the bed
"I think we were" I stopped and started to tickle him
He then started to tickle me
"Stop," I said laughing
"Please," I said laughing harder
"I can't breath," I said laughing
I started to tear up from the laughter he stopped and laughed loudly
"I can't wait to spend my life with you Scarlett Norris," Acacias said softly
"I can't wait to spend my life with you Acacias King," I said smiling looking at him
Once again after so long my life seems to be quiet...
