Scarlett's POV

I circled the gray marble counter table examining every inch of the Sword of hell it had green jewels and a black snake wrapped around the handle.
Something about it attracted me intensely it was as if it was calling my name I stopped and grabbed it and it sent flashes of me pulling the sword from the ground I looked up and I saw a black mist above the trees I walked towards the mist and I heard evil laughter that sent shivers down my spine the mist started to form a face of a man he had red piercing eyes and scars all over his face which didn't make him easy to look at. He suddenly looked in my direction and headed straight for me I tried to run but my feet have glued to the ground I closed my eyes
It's not real, it's not real
"Scarlett?" A worried voice called
I open my eyes slowly to see Acacias full of worry I looked around at my parents and his they all had a worried look plastered on this faces
"Mother where is the book that's all about the sword?" I asked my mother while setting down the sword
"It's in the library of course," she said
"Can you get it please and also get the book of demons?" I said lowly
"Okay you got it," she said as leaving the kitchen Acacias parents followed
I leaned forward and placed my hands on the table dropping my head I let out a sigh
Why must everything be so difficult
I felt a hand on my back it started to rub my back sending shivers through my whole body
Acacias
I turned to face him
I examined his face completely
I mean I knew he was good looking but damn
"Done admiring my beauty" he said with a smirk
I rolled my eyes and let out a soft chuckle
He lifted my chin with his hand and he smiled warmly at me
"Tell me things about yourself," I said in a whisper tone
"Okay well, my name is Acacias I'm 23 years old I'm a hybrid my favorite color is green I have two sisters Aurora and Max who are currently mad at me-"
"Queen!!" Blair came barging in with Abigail, Mia, Stephanie, and Nathen
"Oops did we-"
"No, you didn't what's up," I said turning away from Acacias
"So we put up protective barriers around the pack grounds," Mia said
"You put up protective barriers around my pack? With whose permission" Acacias asks sternly
"Mine-"
"Why didn't you ask me?" Acacius said cutting me off
"Because what came out of that portal is Beyond what you and your wolves and vampires can handle. Do you want to lose more of your guards and warriors? No right" I said look at him dead in the eye he was not used to being stood up to
"Xavier is in the hospital completely healed but refuses to leave without a juice box," Stephanie said trying to break the tension
"Uh okay uh, Blair take Xavier back to the coven address the coven of the situation, put up protective barriers, enforce a curfew, make sure no one walks out of the barriers alone, and contact the rest of the covens around the world and make sure they follow through, understand?" I said sternly
"Yes Queen" Blair bowed and walked away
"The rest of you go to pack grounds and put up protective barriers, Acacias would you allow that or?" I said turning to Acacias who seemed deep in thought
"Of course, I'll get some warriors to come along with you guys and I'll notify Alphas and Lunas that you are coming and I'll also tell solo vampires to station at nearby packs," Acacias said getting his phone out
" Okay this will lead that cloud of dust to come back to the sword where I will open the portal back up and send it back where it came from," I said looking at the sword
" you are dismissed," I said with a sigh
I can hear their footsteps retreating
" you were born with a voice of a Luna" Acacias said wrapping his hands around my waist I usually don't like think type of affection but with him it's different
"You make me weak, in a good way," Acacias said setting his head on my shoulder
I leaning into him
"Let's go hang out," Acacias said out of nowhere
"What?!? we have an unknown thing flying around" I said in a duh tone
"That's why this unknown thing will always be unknown tomorrow," he said letting go of my waist and pulling me out of the room
"But-"
"Look if anything goes wrong I'll be the first to know, perks of being King of all Kings you know," he said chuckling
"Fine," I said smiling
He smiled and dragged me out of the packhouse
As soon as we turned to head for the car we were stopped by 2 girls. One of the girls had black short hair, brown eyes, and a facial structure that others would kill for. The other girl had dark brown glowing skin with long flowing dark brown hair. They were both gorgeous
"Hey A," the girl with short black hair said while walking up to Acacias and then started to stroke his arm in a flirtatious way.
"Oh, who is this the new maid? Why don't you fetch me a glass of water" the girl said with disgust plastered all over her face
Okay she's not nice at all
Suddenly Acacias grabbed her hand and twisted it which caused her to fall to her knees in pain
"ACACIAS" the darker-skinned girl shouted
Suddenly his eyes turned bright red and he let out a loud growl
"YOU SHALL NOT CALL ME THAT I AM YOUR KING" Acacias growled which caused the other girl to kneel and bowed her head
He let go of the girl's hand and wrapped his arm around me
"She is your future Queen and if I hear one bad thing directed at her I'll have your tongue and I know you need your tongue to keep your alcoholic father fed and cleaned Tessa," He said coldly
She needs her tongue for wha- oh eww
Tessa looked up at me angrily and stood up and grabbed her friend and stormed off
"Whose-"
I turned to Acacias to see his wolf is still out he was looking at me up and down
"That was Kat and Tessa no need to worry about them I'll rip their head off if you'd like," he said getting near me and grabbing my waist, and pulling me into his chest
"My name is Avery the much better part of Acacias," Avery said
"Ah nice to meet you, Avery," I said laughing a bit
"Even your laugh is cute," he said examining every inch of my face
"Come one Acacias kind of promised me a day of fun," I said pushing off of him and head towards the car
"You want him back? I'm more fun" Avery said catching up
"I want you both," I said before getting in the car
