Blair's POV
"I'm fine I swear," I said setting the juice box aside
That's a complete lie I feel like my soul was just sucked out of my body while holding the sword
"I have to see the queen-" I sighed and got up
Man my legs feel like noodles
"No the elder witch Nina said you must stay put and eat or drink something sugary," Alejandro said pushing me back into the chair and grabbing a new juice box
"But the coven needs-"
"I'm sure Xavier can give the coven everything they need," he said cutting me off
"Xavier? He always forgets something please just let me see Queen Scarlett she's more than just my queen she is my best friend please love?" I said with a small pout
He stood in front of me contemplating but finally gave in
"Fine but I'll carry you" he sighed
He picked me up bridal style and carried me out of the room and we headed towards Scarlett's room. I hope she okay I do
As we entered everyone's heads turn towards us. Acacias were right by Scarlett's side they have been through many obstacles and there is more to come. Xavier was in the corner bent over while biting his nails nervously while his mate Loren was rubbing his back trying to get his nerves down. Samuel and Nathen stood by the door they practically begged Stephanie and Jake to be stationed in her room I don't blame them. Stephanie was on the balcony talking to her mate Aurora they were so cute together. Mia sat on Max's lap while playing with her hair they are also so cute together !!! And at the end of Scarlett's bed, I saw Sam and Matt reading books frantically. Alejandro set me on the bed next to Scarlett her eyes were shut and she still looks beautiful I smiled to myself and held her hand because I know if I were her I would want someone to hold my hand.
"Hey guys and new person," I said looking around then stopped and looked at a girl with black hair and bright aqua blue eyes she was breathtaking I'd say next to her stood Bruno and on the other side stood Abigail
She looks at the floor and blushes oh god it looks like I'm checking her out
"Uh babe this is Bella" Alejandro sat in the chair in front of me and rubbed his temple and mouthed 'your mine stop flirting' I giggled slightly
"Nice to meet you," Bella said lowly
I smile and nodded
Bruno looked irritated by everyone's presence and but his eyes were locked on one person only and that was Acacias
"Acacias" I whispered
"Mmm," Acacias said looking up at me
"She still cares about you," I said looking at Scarlett
"I still care about her," he said while rubbing circles on her hand
Suddenly Scarlett's arm twitched and she sat up gasping for air and in a flash Acacias had his arm around her trying to calm her down
She looked around breathlessly then turned to Acacias and hugged him tightly and he did the same
"Who are all these people- wait where is my father is he okay," Scarlett said confusedly
"He said he didn't want to be here because you might not want him here," Xavier said getting up and walking to bed
Scarlett sat up and hissed in pain and cupped her hands over her forehead then tried to get up but Acacias held her in place
"He's my father and always will be no matter what or who gets in the way," she said trying to push Acacias away
"I need to see him," she said softly
"Scarlett please" Acacias pleaded
She then grabbed him by the back of his neck and leaned her forehead against his and they stared at each other
"I need to see him my mom is dead and I'm barely holding myself together now imagine him please please let me see him," she said softly on the verge of crying
Never in our 13 years of friendship have I ever seen Scarlett like this but she has every right to be like this her mother is dead
" Alejandro get Adrien he's in the garden," Acacias said while embracing Scarlett into a hug
"Of course," Alejandro said getting up and headed out to get Scarlett's father
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Bruno and he looked livid while looking at Acacias and Scarlett
"Bruno, may I speak to you?" I said sternly
His attention was now on me
he nodded and I got up and we headed into the hall
"What the hell is wrong with you," I said lowly while closing the door
"Nothing" he scoffed
"Bruno you were looking at Acacias like if you were going to rip his head off he is YOUR ALPHA KING," I said whispering lowly
"It's just that- Scarlett is all over him after what he said and-"
"Let's get one thing very clear Bruno she is his mate and he is hers. You aren't her mate. You are nothing. What happens between them isn't your business nor mine-"
He cut me off with a low growl
"Don't. Make. Me. Hurt. You" I said stepping forward
Then his whole demeanor changed
"Love what are you doing up," Alejandro said pulling me into his chest from behind
"Oh nothing I was going to get water and Bruno was going to help me," I said looking up at Ale than at Bruno
"Well I'm here now so I'll help you," Alejandro said
"Okay," I said
I waved at Bruno and walked off with Ale
I don't like Bruno one bit.
