I was dead on my feet. I was practically falling asleep while I pulled my leggings and thermal shirt from my work out clothes. God, conditioning today was going to be absolute hell, no thanks to the fact that I hadn't gotten much sleep these past two weeks which was definitely the source of my soreness this morning.

I didn't want to wake Scorpius, he had gotten the same amount of sleep as I had. I pulled on the fleece-lined leggings and tight long sleeve thermal shirt as quietly as I could. It was going to be cold today since we were conditioning on the field, and I didn't really want to change into my practice clothes once I got there.

I slowly crept into the bedroom which was still dark and reached out for my trainers. I heard Scor stir in bed and froze mid-reach.

"Lily?" his voice was groggy and deep, and far too distracting for my taste.

"Go back to sleep, love," I said as I grabbed the sneakers and slid them on.

"You going to practice?" he half yawned.

"Mhm, and you can sleep in. Father said the Ministry isn't starting back until the 5th, you've still got three more days to rest." I said as I double knotted my laces.

Scorpius sat up a little, "What am I supposed to do all day while you're gone?"

I flipped my head over and ran my fingers through my hair, "You could sleep in then meet me for lunch?" I offered.

Scorpius hummed throatily. "Hmmm... that I could," he more so mumbled as he rubbed his eyes.

I grasped the hair and wrapped a hair tie around it, standing up straight now, "afterward, I can take you to meet the team if you'd like?"

Scorpius groaned, "I'd like for you to get undressed and crawl back in this bed."

I scoffed, "You know I can't, I have to go train. Besides, I probably put on five pounds with how I've been eating these past two weeks. Have to shave em' off if I want to beat Finland next week."

Scorpius looked me up and down, "And where exactly are these five pounds?"

I turned around and looked over my shoulder, "my ass is where," I said as I placed a hand on my butt. Merlin, my uniform pants were going to be tight next week if I didn't get this off. I looked back up at Scorpius, "I mean just look at it!"

Scorpius chuckled lowly, "I am."

I rolled my eyes, though probably to not much effect since it was still dark, "I have conditioning from 7 to 12, lunch fro 12:30 to 1:30, then flight training from 2 to 5"

Scorpius just stared at me for a moment, "We probably share a collective 6 hours of sleep between the two of us, how the hell do you do that every day?"

I walked over to the edge of the bed and shrugged, "I dunno, really like quidditch I guess. That or that it gives me these," I giggled as I slid the hem of my shirt up to show off my newly chiseled abs.

Scorpius slid my shirt back down, "you tease me."

"Yeah, but you love it." My smirk was visible even in the dark.

Scorpius sighed, "That I do."

"Besides," I added, "I woke up early so I could grab a coffee on my way."

Scorpius feigned hurt, "You're leaving me early? We could have had more time?"

I kissed his forehead, "not much," I smiled, "Meet me at 12:30, yeah?"

Scorpius nodded, "where?"

"There's a nice cafe down the block from the stadium, if that's alright with you, then I can introduce you to the team afterward."
