Chapter 9/ Nino's Song

Adrien's POV

Alya stood with a hand on her chin as if she were thinking.

"Since I went first I get to chose who goes next." she stated

"Nino, it's your turn." she laughed

Nino looked at me with wide eyes then smirked.

"You'll regret making me sing Alya!" Nino laughed

I agree with Nino. She's definitely going to regret that. Nino never takes singing anything seriously.

Marinette looked exited to hear him sing. I nudged her with my elbow and whispered.

"This is going to be so bad Mari, please prepare yourself,"

She laughed at pushed me playfully.
Just the feeling of her hand touching my shoulder sent me into shivers.
I wanted to love her, but I can only like her. My love belongs to my bugaboo.

"Don't be mean Adrien!" she huffed

I rolled my eyes.

"You'll see why I said it!"

We turned towards the TV and Nino grabbed the microphone.

Nino screamed purposely.

Suddenly Marinette grabbed my hands and placed them over her ears in a panic.

Nino was screaming and laughing at the same time.

Alya was laughing so hard I think she might explode.

"OKAY ADRIEN NOW I SEE WHAT YOU MEANT!" Marinette shouted over Nino.

ShAwty mixin' up the vodkA with the LaCrOix, yeah

We both laughed so hard we had to sit down.

G-WAgon, G-WagOn, G-WaGON, G-WAGON

"NINO STOP IT YOU'RE ABUSING OUR EARS!" I cried

Nino turned off the song and began laughing with all of us.

"I think I was better than Alya for sure," Nino bragged with a look of pride on his face.

Nino tried to hold the face but fell to the ground wheezing with laughter.

Marinette and I finally stood up after a long time of laughing and chatting with everyone.

Marinette's POV

Adrien and I stood up.

I forgot about how easily I would pass out when I stood up quickly.

The light in the room slowly become black and the noise of everyone talking became muffled.

Adrien's POV

"Marinette?" I asked

She seemed to be spaced out.

Next thing I knew she started to fall backwards until she collapsed completely into my arms.

"MARINETTE!" I cried

Oh no, what happened? Do we need to go to a hospital?

"Alya! Marinette passed out!" I yelled

"Oh, that's normal for her, she has iron deficiency so she passes out after she stands up. She should wake up any second," she said not worried at all

Pwew. For a second I thought we were going to have to make a trip to the hospital.

I sat down on the ground and placed her head on my legs.

"GAHHH!" Marinette screamed

Her eyes opened wide.

"You're okay!" I sighed

She looked down at her toes in embarrassment.

"I'm sorry if I fell on you Adrien,"

I looked at her and smiled.

"I'm your friend, I'll always catch you when you fall,"

I heard her mumble something but I couldn't quite make it out.

"What about when I fall for you," Marinette mumbled

(he didn't hear what she said)

We stood up slowly and now it was one of our turns to sing.
