Chapter 10/ Marinette's Song

Hey guys. Sorry I don't update as much at the moment. I have like 5 assignments and 2 tests to study for.
Anyways... on to the story.

Marinette's POV

"Marinette you should go!" Alya encouraged

I hated singing in front of people. I've sang once in front of Chat noir as Ladybug but very briefly. I would be okay to sing in front of Alya and Nino but Adrien was here and I didn't want him to laugh.

Truth was, I wrote this song about him.

"Marinette I'm sure you'll be great!" Adrien smiled

"And if you aren't no one will judge. You saw Nino's performance right?" he laughed

A light pink dusted my cheeks.

"Hey! I was fantastic!" Nino added

What was there to lose? I was with my friends it was time to have some fun and let loose.

"Alright, I'll go,"

I grabbed that microphone and pushed all of my anxiety away.

Adrien's POV

Her blue hair dusted her shoulders lightly as she picked up the microphone.

Marinette's song - Heather- Conan Gray

Her perfect blue eyes lit up and her shoulders relaxed.

"I actually wrote this song so uhm Alya's just going to play the background music.

I still remember the third of December, me in your sweater
You said it looked better on me than it did you.

Alya looked at her and smiled. Did they plan for her to sing this song before?

Marinette's voice is un-real. She sounds like an actual angel. Her voice was just like Ladybug's. I could listen forever.

I'm beginning to notice the little things about Marinette. Maybe she is more than just a friend...

(Marinette was singing while he was thinking so a couple likes were skipped)

Her gaze shifted towards me.

I'm not even half as pretty

Something tells me that this song has a deeper meaning to her.

You gave her your sweater, it's just polyester

Oh my god. I have Chloe my sweater last month because she was cold.
