A Chance

Marinette's POV

Adrien laid lifeless in my arms. Emotions soared through my body and mind. All that I had ever wanted, the boy whom i've loved for years. Was dead.

It felt surreal. Maybe it was all a nightmare because it sure felt like one.

I took one last look at Adrien before placing him don't gently beside me. I wanted to throw up. If I looked at him once more I probably would.

"You killed him!" I wailed

Gabriel look towards me, guilt clouding his eyes. I could tell there was conflicting thoughts surrounding him.

I didn't care about his guilt. He was a killer. A stone cold killer.

"You killed him! You killed him! He's dead! Oh my god you killed him!" I repeated, the actual event of my boyfriend dying finally starting to seem a reality and not some messed up dream.

"I didn't want this!" Gabriel retaliated

"I don't want this!" he continued

Nathalie and I watched as Gabriel held both miraculouses in his hands.

"Goliee, I don't want to carry out my wish. I want my son back!"

Goliee frowned but began to talk.

"I could try to stop the wish but there's still a chance that Adrien may not wake up. Give Marinette her miraculous and place the ring on Adrien's finger."

"Even if there's only a chance of him awaking we still need to try!" I pleaded

Gabriel walked towards me shamefully and handed me my miraculous.

I quickly placed them on my ears as Tikki emerged from them.

"Marinette!" she squealed

"No time to talk Tikki, we have to save Adrien!"

Tikki glanced over at Adrien and a shocked expression was written on her face.

"Tikki! Spots on!"

Once my transformation was complete, Gabriel walked over to Adrien and placed the ring on his finger.

Plagg flew out of the ring.

"Adrien! I'm so glad-

"Adrien?"

"Plagg, we have to save him, before he's dead forever,"

He nodded and Goliee continued to talk.

"Gabriel, if you really want this to work I need you to akumatize Marinette and give her the power to heal. This way she can bring Adrien back to life. The ring will give him some strength and he'll him recover."

"I'll do it."

"You must give your miraculous to me after so I can return it to the guardian!" I spoke

"I'll do it if it means my son wakes up,"

"Reviver, a loved one has died suddenly, I gift you the power to heal and bring him back to life!" Hawkmoth said, releasing the akuma and letting it fly into my earrings.
