Collision

Marinette's POV

"Marinette, It's 8:30 you're going to be late for school!" Sabine shouted

Marinette groaned as she slowly arose from her comfortable bed.

"Tikki why didn't you wake me up?" I asked

"I'm sorry Marinette I didn't realize it was so late!"

I assured Tikki that it was okay and began to get ready for the day.

I looked in the mirror and saw my messy black hair. I grabbed my brush and looked for my hair elastics to do my signature hairstyle.

"Oh no!" I cried

"I can't find any hair elastics!"

I was already almost late for school and I decided that I would just leave my hair down for once.

I bolted down the stairs and waved goodbye to my parents, not having time to eat breakfast.

I looked around on my way to school, Paris was beautiful, Closing my eyes, I focused on the natural aroma of flowers and the cafes nearby.

"oomph" I let out a small noise as I collided with someone.

Without looking up I started to apologize.

"I-I'm so sorry I wasn't looking where I was going!"

Oh no. It couldn't be, no no no no.

"A-Adrien?"

"Yup thats my name ," he replied

"I-I-I'm sorry Adrien I should've been looking where I was going. Are you okay? Oh Adrien I'm sorry" I rambled

"Marinette, I'm fine," he laughed

"Here let's walk to class together," he insisted

Adrien and I silently walked beside eachother into the school. How was he so perfect and how did he put up with my stuttering?

"Hey Marinette I meant to say something before, but I noticed you left your hair down today," Adrien commented.

"O-oh heh, y-yeah I know it's looks worse down," I said shyly

"Actually I was going to say I think it looks really pretty, you should wear it down more it suits you," Adrien smiled

"Y-you think so?," I asked

He nodded.

Adrien Agreste just said my hair looked pretty. ADRIEN AGRESTE JUST SAID MY HAIR LOOKED PRETTY! Heat rushed through my face and settled on my cheeks, I looked down trying to hide my blush.

They walked into the classroom and Adrien held the door open for her. She scanned the classroom searching for Alya. WHY IS NINO IN MY SPOT?

Adrien's  POV
I woke up to Nathalie lightly knocking on my door just like every other day.

"I'm awake," I shouted

I hopped out of bed and the first thing I saw was Plagg sitting on the couch.

"Must have Camembert," he groaned

"Plagg it's in the fridge go and help yourself," I laughed

I walked into my bathroom and decided to shower off before school.

After, I walked downstairs and ate breakfast by myself and made my way to the car.

Gorilla was waiting for me and started to drive me to school.

I thanked him for the ride and he nodded and grunted in return.

As I was walking I was thinking about Ladybug, and when there would be another Akuma attack so I could see her again.

"Oomph"

Marinette and I collided with each other, both not looking where we were going.

"I-I'm so sorry I wasn't looking where I was going!" she cried.

"A-Adrien?" she asked

She looked up at me with her blue eyes and looked almost... frightened of me?

"Yup thats my name," I replied

"I-I-I'm sorry Adrien I should've been looking where I was going. Are you okay? Oh Adrien I'm sorry" she rambled

"Marinette, I'm fine," I laughed

"Here, let's walk to class together,"

Her cheeks turned a slight red and she nodded. I took the time to look at her. She wore her hair down today, I never really noticed how pretty she was, her silky black hair flowing nicely just beneath her shoulders and her kind eyes, willing to see the good in everyone.

I let Marinette know that her hair looked pretty and she couldn't seem to believe it. She really should be more confident, everyone else can see her beauty except herself. She turned her head away after I complimented her, and I could see her cheeks turning red.

We walked into the classroom and I noticed that Alya and Nino were sitting together. Oh no, don't tell me that they were still trying to get me and Marinette to become a "thing".
