Ben POV: It was the start of sixth grade. I was talking with my best friends, Will and Emma, as usual. Will was doing most of the enthusiastic talking, as usual, Emma was silent but her face is glowing, as usual, and I really wanted to talk but Will wouldn't even give me a chance, as usual. Besides, I have nothing positive to say, and I might get some "positive reminder" from Will, again. School just isn't my thing. I'm a leader, not some kid who would sit in chairs following instructions. I honestly wish I just got a chance to talk about how "school just isn't my thing"...but then of course no one would listen to me...
Exposition:
Emma, Will, and Ben takes their seats in the classroom.
Will: I honestly can't wait to sit in between both of you...this years gonna be so great guys.
Ben: Yeah...
(Emma smiles)
(Ms. Suckingbones comes in the classroom)
Ms. Suckingbones: Everybody take your seats! Welcome to 6th grade, I am Ms. Suckingbones...
Donald: Suckingbones!
Ms. Suckingbones: Quiet Mr.Dollar! That's rule number one, no one talks for the whole period.
Marilyn: Bathroom?
Ms. Suckingbones: No. Matter. What.
(Marilyn whispers something to Will, who are both popular)
Ms. Suckingbones: No whispering either!
(Whole class groans)
Ms. Suckingbones: And no groaning!
Scene 2:
It is the end of the day. All the students leave the classroom, including Ben and Emma.
Marilyn: Emma could you give me a session please?
Britney: I need one too maybe after her...
Margarita: I really need to talk to someone right now I'll go before both of them!
(Emma checks her phone to see if anyone else is texting her for sessions)
Emma: Be safe Ben...
(Emma walks away)
Ben POV: Emma is one of my closest friend, sister, and therapists, alive. She even gives them for free. Which is why so many people are begging her for therapy sessions. Which also means she can't walk home with me today.
(Will goes beside Ben)
Will: I've got training...be safe!
(Will leaves)
Ben POV: Which means no ones listening to me today. At a time I really need to be listened to.
Scene 3:
Ben is sulking in his room. He really needs someone to listen to him, yet everyone's busy.
(Ben hears someone knock)
(He opens the door and sees Emma)
Emma: I know you need it today don't you?
Ben: Yeah I do...
(They both come in the room)
Ben POV: It's really like she could read my brain can't she?
Emma: Ive also got gummy bears. We could eat while talking.
(Ben and Emma sits somewhere in the room)
