[M/N][L/N]

It seemed everyone was getting along as we had dinner. I was rather quiet because I didn't know how to join in. Through all the alcohol Yoshino's mother consumed, she got drunk and started laughing at everything especially when Itadori was given a wooden tray which he started crying over and calling Wilson. I rested my head on my palm with my elbow propped up on the table, watching as Yoshino started laughing. It was nice seeing people happy but I didn't feel the joy they felt. I was just content watching them. Yoshino's mother fell asleep on the table so I covered her with a blanket from one of the guest rooms.

Itadori pointed out how nice Yoshino's mother was. I agreed with him, she really was a kind relaxed person. When we were asked about our parents, Itadori told him that his mother was absent and he had very few memories of his father but his grandfather was there for him. When Itadori turned towards me, he said it was alright if I didn't want to talk about my parents. Yoshino got the message and apologised but I reassured them that I was fine talking about them. I told them that I love my parents very much. Itadori got a phone call after that. I wanted to speak a bit more to Yoshino.

"Ne, Yoshino, I want to ask something, can I touch your forehead?"

"M... My forehead? Why?" I said

"I want to look at the scars you have, they looked painful." I explained

The look in Yoshino's eyes looked scared but he sat down while lifting his hair. My hands hovered above his forehead and I used the reverse technique and the bumpy skin from the cigarette burns became less bumpy and more smooth. The burns became less black and purple and a less burnt stage but that's all I could do. It was still obvious he had been burnt there all over with cigarettes. I pushed the hair back over his forehead and apologised for doing a horrible job. His hand reached up to touch the burns and teared up slightly.

"Thank you" Yoshino smiled

"It's really not much" I waved off

Right then, Yoshino asked us how we felt if we had to kill someone like a bad Jujutsu Sorcerer. Itadori's answer was that he would try to avoid it otherwise the option of killing would become a part of his life and he didn't want that. Humming, I thought about if I would actually be alright with killing someone. The fact was that I wouldn't result to it but I would result to it without too much regret if I had to made me feel bad on the inside. I was really not a pure kind hearted person unlike Itadori. I didn't care about people.

Soon after the call, Itadori moved to the living room area so the three of us could watch a movie together that I fell asleep to immediately on Itadori's lap. I was woken up half an hour later with Itadori waking me up because we had to go. Yawning, I got up and waved goodbye to Ijichi and told him to take care before Itadori and I got in the car. We then picked up Nanami who sat next to me. I smelled something metallic when he came in and asked him about it. He casually told me that he was just injured and not to worry about it.

I didn't have confidence in my abilities with the reversed technique on bigger wounds so I didn't dare use it. My cat started meowing at me that he did a good job. He jumped up into my hands and snuggled me while Nanami observed the cat. Did he have a cat obsession like I did? I asked for his input on the situation to which he started asking me about my cat. I tried answering as best I could but I can't say who gave him to me if I got him from the street. Still a cute cat though. A cat that was a curse but cute.

"Did you know his saliva has healing properties?" Nanami asked

"Ew, Neko, what did I tell you about licking people? Your tongue is like sandpaper" I lectured my cat

"Meeeoooow" Neko whined.

Nanami was confused by me talking to my cat but gave in as we went back to Jujutsu Tech. To my surprise, he thanked me for giving my cat. I told him it was alright before silence ensued in the car. Ijichi was trembling constantly the whole way back while I stared out of the window, gripping my shovel and thinking about Yoshino's question. Was I really alright with killing people even? I was, only if it was needed. I felt guilty how I didn't feel bad about humans but more so plants and animals. When we got back, Itadori went back to training in secret while I went to the gym.

[Third]

That day (M/N) trained for 6 hours straight without stopping to clear his mind which Maki found weird. She knew that he was a pretty quiet person normally and he still had the same facial expressions but she wondered why he was training for so long when they usually went for just 4 hours. Even Panda was getting worn out. When Panda and Maki left the gym, (M/N) continued training. He really wasn't angry or sad. He just wondered why he didn't feel bad. He eventually gave up and trained a bit more. He just wasn't an empathetic person.

When (M/N) headed to the gardens straight afterwards, he started gardening and felt at peace again. He decided to use his domain for practice while gardening. It lasted a whole 10 minutes. Honestly, he put in a lot of hard effort but it only increased by 3 in the span of a month and a half. He sighed before continuing to garden, quietly tending to the vegetables and fruits. He was content and became more peaceful with the cat by his side. He practiced his reversed technique but it wasn't really working like he hoped. His cat was there to try and eat the cat nip though, effectively distracting him.

"Fatty bum, you're acting like your on drugs again whenever you get cat nip"

"Mewwww"

A/N: Thanks for reading this chapter, maybe I'll upload the next chapter early. Just a reminder, not everyone who has a hard time being emotionally connected is a sociopath. Sometimes, its just their personality, could be a disorder, an outcome of their circumstances or stuff like that but that doesn't make them a sociopath. In (M/N)'s case he didn't get enough of that family love and disconnected to cope.

Anyways, have a nice day, also fun fact. Fatty bum weighs 10kg which is quite heavy for his size. (M/N) tried to make him diet but the cat dramatically told him that he was starving and gave in immediately cause he felt slightly bad. Poor (M/N)

 Poor (M/N)
