Juu- Gardener learns a Jujutsu techniques

The next day I got up extra early to do more strength training. If they had a gym, I might as well utilise it. I trained weights and punching bags while improving my mobility for three hours before going to garden. I started there until an hour later Fushiguro turned up, we put fertilisers on the plants together. At first he was putting too much until I caught him and lectured him to tell him the correct amounts and why it was bad. I realised he might not be listening and asked him if if was boring. Turns out, he was listening intently. I found it nice he was listening.

"Thank you for listening" I rather bluntly said

"I find it nice to do things like these once in a while" Fushiguro mumbled.

"That's good. We have classes soon right?" I asked

"Yeah" Fushiguro nodded

"What do we learn anyways? Maths?" I asked

"Yeah, the basics of that but most importantly Jujutsu techniques" Fushiguro explained.

Nodding my head, both of us soon finished gardening and we went to change before I followed him to classes. I still kept my sunflower hat on my head. I wondered who our teacher was. We saw Kugisaki on the way and she was lost so Fushiguro had to escort both of us to class. There were a lot of classrooms and they all had plenty of seats. There were currently only 3 of us. I sat down in a random seat before waiting for our teacher to come in. The pretty tired doctor lady came in from yesterday and introduced herself as Shoko Ieiri.

From then on, all of us started learning techniques but one that interested me was the reversal technique. It started off with a brief description of where cursed energy is from and how it can be controlled. I brought out the cursed corpse bear to keep controlling my cursed energy while listening. Then she mentioned cursed techniques become a reality. Either it's passed down through the family or created by the user themselves.

If it was passed down in the family then there would be almost a sort of manual on how to use it but had the downside that other people outside the family knew how to use it. She then moved on to explaining how cursed energy could be used with cursed techniques. Some techniques used cursed energy to create objects before using Fushiguro as an example of a shadow making the divine dogs. She brought up how cursed energy could be infused into items and actions like the principal with the corpse dolls. She even brought up a voice user but I haven't met him yet. Some can even affect pre-existing objects.

The class ended shortly after so I headed up to to her and asked about the reversal technique while Kugisaki and Fushiguro left to have lunch. Her explanation didn't make much sense but it basically turns negative energy into positive which means any technique using positive energy have the opposite effects. She explained that how she used the technique for healing. I was highly interested and she began explaining how it worked in her own way. I didn't understand how to perform it but I could ask Neko for that. I thanked her before realising lunch was over so I sat back in my seat to continue learning.

Domain Expansion was brought up and my interest was undeniable. Apparently, how we wished the domain to be would affect our views on how it would turn out. Then she moved onto explaining how if there was a significant amount of energy then it could create a cursed object such as talisman. She explained how cursed energy was unique to each individual and the amounts one possessed could be different. Raw cursed energy could harden strengthen the body or soul but it was still very volatile. She recapped on how to hide energy too which I already learnt and perfected. Class finished after that.

Kugisaki, Fushiguro and I headed to the cafeteria and got food. Someone had prepared food before hand. There was no one else there. I got chicken fried rice and began eating with them. My cat came out of the shadow and rested on my shoulder as I ate. The other two wondered where the cat came from and Kugisaki tried to touch it only for her hand to jolt away. Weird. Fushiguro seemed to try and touch it too but he flew out of his seat backwards. I helped him back up as my cat just started purring. I glared at my cat and he pawed my face in return, meowing cutely.

"Are you alright Fushiguro?" I asked

"What's up with your cat?!" Kugisaki yelled.

"I don't know, no one really has tried to touch him before except Gojo but even he couldn't" I said.

"Your cat is weird but is it imbued with a technique?" Kugisaki asked.

"I have no idea, he's always been like that" I  said.

The three of us went outside and I saw a standing Panda. Kugisaki and Fushiguro acted like this was normal. A student wearing the uniform with a weapon casually over her shoulder was there too and another guy with his uniform covering his mouth. The student with glasses introduced herself as Maki Zenin, the other as Toge Inumaki and the panda as Panda. I just stared with the cursed corpse bear in my hands until Zenin broke the conversation telling me that I needed to help participate in the sister school exchange event that would take place a month from now.

"Sure, you can all help me train right? Let's start now. I want to spar with Panda please." I asked.

With my declaration, Panda and I went to the gym together and started sparring. I changed into a lightweight uniform. I lost a lot at first but I was learning a lot. Eventually, Zenin switched in and she had a weapon. A wooden pole. She yelled at me to call her Maki before we began and I was a bit caught off guard before agreeing. Her attacks were swift and brutal, I lost immediately but I learnt from my errors and improved. It was an intense six hours and by the time I was finished, I was sparring with both of them.

My muscles hurt a lot by the time I was done. I went to the locker room and showered there since they had hot water before changing into my uniform and going back to the garden. My cat popped out of the shadows and started meowing while I quietly listened. I asked Neko if it was possible for him to teach me Domain Expansion and the Reversed technique. He agreed and I listened as he meowed to me how to do it. It made a lot of sense.

"Hmm, when do you think I'll get a proper Domain Expansion?" I asked

"Meow?" The cat indicated 'who knows?'

"You liar, you can tell when I'm going to learn. Wait do you think I could try now?" I asked

"Meow~" The cat agreed.

Putting my hands together, I was about to do it when I heard the gate swing open and my cat jump back into my shadow. I believe I saw Toge Inumaki. He was quiet as he came up to me and gave me my sunflower hat that I left in the locker room. I thanked him and offered him some fruits as gratitude. He said salmon before taking it. I just continued on talking to him without judgement. When he eventually left, I went back to trying to create a Domain Expansion but failed.

I still had an hour to kill so I guess I could keep trying until I met up with Itadori and Gojo.

A/N: Woo, this chapter was a lot of info but I'm glad I have it since it helped me too. I pieced parts from the manga and anime together as well as the fandom wiki page to help. Phew.

Someone commented that (M/N) holding a shovel would be terrifying since he's quite tall. Bwahahah I couldn't stop laughing. I feel like (M/N) doesn't intend to come off scary but his height just makes it scary. A bit like Asahi from Haikyuu. Love Haikyuu so far. Thank you for coming to read this chapter! See you soon
