[Third]

"U... Uraume"

"You still have trouble with my name?"

"Sorry, it's really weird for me to pronounce. If I don't get a hang of it in this life time then in the next, I promise to get it right the first time in my next life" M/N) grinned

"That isn't necessary, (L/N)-sama. The garden looks as beautiful as ever. I'm sure Sukuna-sama won't kill you" Uraume stated as he bowed

"Ah, thank you. Ne, U...Uraume? If I die really soon, will you be sad?"

The (H/C) person with a pair of shears continued snipping away gently at the thin branches of the bonzai tree as if he didn't ask a strange question while Uraume quietly watched. Uraume was undoubtedly smitten with their second master. They watched in silence while thinking of an answer before their thoughts were interrupted by a cat meow. The cat jumped out of the shadows to be by (M/N)'s side. They watched as (M/N) turned to them with that awkward adorable smile, he couldn't help but utter his answer.

"Yes, are you going to die soon?" Uraume's fist trembling as it clenched harshly.

"Yes, I'll before I meet Salmon, no Suna, sorry I mean S..Sukuna. The chances of that are too high." (M/N) smiled gently, unfazed

Uraume offered to try arranging it to be sooner. After all, it was Sukuna who wanted to meet him while (M/N) just wanted to meet the person who the Uraume had dedicated themselves too. A smile that made Uraume's heart swell. They shouldn't have fallen for someone so handsome when their feelings could possibly not be returned. They looked up to (M/N) with a stoic expression but they were buzzing with happiness. Their heart was swelling uncontrollably and even though they were scared of rejection, they still tried to pursue them.

"There's no need, I know my luck. Thank you for being being by my side. You're very kind and loyal, my little androgynous monk" (M/N) laughed

"How can you laugh when you're going to die?" Uraume angrily huffed before returning to their neutral expression.

"There's no point being sad, we're all going to die. I'd rather be happy then be miserable over something inevitable. A lovely little thing called optimism or was it undepressionism"

"(L/N)-sama.... undepressionism isn't a word"

"Oh really? Here I thought I was cool for a moment. Would you like some fruits?" (M/N) laughed

-

"That was a weird dream... but I don't remember anything"

"Meow" My cut purred as I turned onto my side and propped myself up with my elbow

"Oh hey buddy, good morning. Did you sleep well?"

"Meow"

"That's good, today should be good, the exchange event should be starting tomorrow right?"

My cat nodded his cute head before purring and curling into my side. Sighing, I got up and went to train and garden as usual. Usually, I would train with Maki but today, I had to train with Fushiguro but no techniques were allowed. He lost the moment he threw a punch where I was easily able to dodge and throw one back. He fell to the ground and I thought I killed him for a bit until he got back up with a red face. Maki was laughing profusely at Fushiguro's lost so we decided to change it to cursed techniques. We both instinctively tried to use our domains but Fushiguros broke and I was victorious.

"Why don't we use the outdoors? There you can plan a strategy against me"

So, both of us headed outside. Then, we resumed the battle and immediately Fushiguro took off, leaving me confused, a question mark above my head. Were we playing tag? After a few seconds I decided to chase after him but that was when I got caught by his snake curse and thrown in the air. This is when Nue swooped down to get hits on me. It was hard to move away and I didn't have and plant seeds to help with me. Oh, maybe I made a bad decision. I gave managed to grab one of the upper and lower fangs before pushing them apart to get out. Then I realised I made a dumb decision because I was now falling to the ground. Sweet, I'm gonna go join nature.
