Chapter 33

Two months later.....

Candace's POV

after getting out of the hospital everything went back to normal and I got healed up pretty quickly.

After two months with Donald going on tour and my acting career taking off we don't really have that much time for was other so that's why we just decided to remain best friends like when we were younger.

We occasionally kissed one another but other than that nothing really sparked between us.

I was sitting at home for the first time in a while having a movie night with a bunch of snacks like popcorn , snickers , Gatorade , hot fries , sour patches , licorice, and more.

Taken 3 was playing and I was so into it until my doorbell ring.

I sighed before pausing it and stepping off of my couch.

After walking to the door I answered it without asking who it was.

I opened the door to see Donald standing with a rose in his hand.

"Hey best friend." He said with a smile on his face.

"DONALD!!" I screamed while jumping into his arms.

He swings us around in a circle.

"I missed you so much." Donald whispered in my ear.

This is my first time seeing Donald since he was on tour. I missed him a lot and I was always happy to see him.

"I miss you too!" I exclaimed pecking him on the lips.

He sat me down on the ground.

He walked fully into the house while I shut the door behind.

"What's going on in here?" He questioned looking around the house seeing that it was dark.

"I was just having a movie night." I answered him while he followed me to the living room.

"Well do you mind if I join you?" He asked me liking his lips at my table full of snacks.

"Of course you can join me." I replied sitting down on the couch.

He took off his jacket and sat beside me.

I then grabbed the blanket and wrapped it around us.

He snuggles closer to me wrapping his arm around my body before I started the movie.

I was snacking on a piece of licorice when he whispered. "I love you best friend" while planting a kiss on my forehead.

I honestly think we're better off as friends and one day if we become something more then so be it but until then he'll be my best friend forever. ❤️

"I love you more best friend" I whispered back while snuggling more into his body.

Hopefully things can stay like this forever.

Not A Sound was heard the rest of the night as Donald and I rest peacefully.
