Three weeks later....
Candace's POV
"Donald stop." I said in between giggles.
"Nope not until you give me what's mines." He said continuing to tickle me all over.
"Never!" I said getting off of the bed.
He busted out laughing when I tripped over his basketball.
"Haha you're so stupid." He said reaching his hand out.
I grabbed his hand. "Be quiet." I said fake pouting.
For the past couple of weeks me and Donald have been hanging out like crazy we have become very close.
"I'm sorry." He said grabbing my hand.
I crossed my arms and turned away from him.
"Leave me alone." I said rolling my eyes playfully.
He then wrapped his arms around my chest. "I'm really sorry Candy. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings."
I pushed him off of me. "Donald you're so childish."
"But you know you love the childish side of me." He said showing a toothy grin making me smile.
"Well you got that right." I said coming closer to him.
He pulled me into his chest.
I can never stay mad at him for too long.
He then kissed the side of my head.
"Candy you're so beautiful." He said.
I blushed.
He always told me I was beautiful despite what the kids at school say to me.
"Thank you." I said kissing his cheek.
"CANDACE!" I heard my name being called from downstairs.
"I guess it's time for me to go." I said.
His mom had me on a curfew I had to be out by 8.
"Bye." He said getting up and giving me a bear hug.
"Bye." I said hugging him back.
I then left up out of his room and then downstairs to the door.
"Wait." Donald's mom said stopping me from walking out the house.
"Yes Mrs.Glover?" I asked her.
"I want you to know that we will miss you when we leave and that we will come back to visit." She said.
"Wait y'all are leaving?" I asked her.
She had a confused look on her face. " wait Donald didn't tell you we are leaving in two days?" She asked.
I shook my head no.
"Oh boy." She said knowing she made me upset.
I ran out of her house and towards mine.
I can't believe that he's leaving me. Even though we have only been friends for three weeks I feel like I have known him forever.
How could he keep this a secret? 😔
