Ji Pyeong looked at Mi-Ah, "Do you mind if we go sit with them?" he asked.
She shook her head, and they joined Dal-Mi and Sa-Ha.
At the table of Dal-Mi and Sa-Ha, Ji Peong introduced everyone to each other.
"This is my friend Min-Ah Song. Min-Ah, you already know Dal Mi. And this is Ms. Sa-Ha Jung,"
Min-Ah smiled at Sa-Ha and Dal-Mi. The two reciprocate Min-Ah.
"Ms. Jung is a lawyer, right?" Ji Pyeong said as he and Min-Ah sat. He looked at Dal Mi, asking for an acknowledgment: if he introduced Sa-Ha correctly.
Dal Mi nodded.
"So, Ms. Min Ah, right? what do you do for a living?" Sa Ha asked in an intimidating way.
However, Min Ah was as 'intimidating' as her.
"I am a doctor at Hankuk University!" she proudly said.
Min-Ah handed her a calling card, and Sa-Ha read it with an impressed expression— just like Dal Mi and Ji Pyeong.
"By the way, how do you two know each other?" Sa Ha asked both of them.
Min Ah looked at Ji Pyeong. And he answered, "we went to the same university."
"He was very formal and hard to approach back then," Min Ah paused and smiled at Ji Pyeong. "...But that's part of his charisma, I guess. I remember how he received gifts from different girls— even girls from different schools, during Valentine's day. And, Of course, he rejected them!" Min Ah told Dal Mi and Sa Ha.
Then she faced Ji Pyeong and talked to him directly.
"Do you remember when you used me to turn down that girl from Ehwa University? I met her again at a party recently. And she said she —really—hated me that time!"
"On my defense, You knew: I don't have time to date anyone!" Ji Pyeong said as he widely smiled.
"Ahem! Ahem!" Sa-Ha faked a cough, reminding Ji-Pyeong and Min-Ah that she and Dal Mi were still present.
Suddenly, Min Ah's phone rang.
"Aren't you gonna answer that?" Sa Ha asked.
Min Ah looked at his phone and canceled the call, "It's not important!" she said. Then she faced Dal-Mi and Sa-Ha.
"So, how do you guys know each other? Are you all working together? But I thought Sa Ha's a lawyer?"
"We used to work together. We started a business at Sandbox before, and Mr. Han is our mentor. Unfortunately, it didn't work out!" Dal Mi answered.
Ji Pyeong frowned as he heard Dal Mi call him 'Mr. Han' in such a formal way, and they were outside the Sandbox, on top of that.
"What's the sudden formality?" he asked himself.
"I see! Too bad it didn't work out for all of you. But Dal Mi, you're still in Sandbox, right? So it means things still work out for you!" Min Ah said.
"Hmm...I guess!" Dal Mi answered. And she looked at Sa-Ha because she still felt sorry for her.
"Min Ah!" a male voice called.
Everyone at the table looked at the person that called her. He was tall, and his aura was similar to a movie star. He wore a light pink, long sleeves polo, a white trench coat, and a dark gray scarf. He was liked on a runway as he walked toward Min Ah. And she was—obviously— pleased to see him, "Excuse me!" she said and met the guy halfway.
When Min-Ah was gone, Dal-Mi, Sa-Ha, and Ji Pyeong talked about her.
"Who's that? He's HOT!" Sa Ha said, showing her dimples.
"Maybe he's one of her colleagues," Ji Pyeong said and frowned as he saw them talk so friendly.
"But why are you frowning?" Dal Mi suddenly asked him.
"Am I frowning?" he replied.
Dal Mi and Sa Ha both nodded.
"Dal-Mi! Obviously! It's because of Min-Ah! I'll admit she is beautiful even by my standards. And you know, I am not easy to please," Sa Ha said.
"Sa Ha, do you like girls now?" Dal Mi jokingly asked. Everyone laughed. Moments later, Min Ah returned to her seat, " Sorry about!" she said.
"Do you mind if I asked you who he is? He's HOT!" Sa Ha asked.
"He's Jun Ki Lee. He's a friend of mine, and we're working on a study together. And speaking of which, I just remembered that I couldn't stay any longer because I have a 12'o clock flight tomorrow," she said.
"Are you leaving?" Ji Pyeong asked, and he couldn't deny he was surprised to hear it.
"Yes! too bad when we just met again after a long time!" Min Ah sadly said.
"Where are you going?" Ji Pyeong curiously asked.
"I'll stay in Germany for six months to one year. Depending on the progress of our study," Min Ah said. She looked at her watch and said goodbye to them, "I'll be leaving now. Hopefully! next time I can spend more time with you guys," she paused and looked at Ji Pyeong, "...especially with you!" she finished. "I'll drive you home," Ji Pyeong offered.
"It's okay, I have a car." she declined.
"Okay, I'll just walk you there!" Ji Pyeong firmly said, and he stood up. Ji Pyeong walks Min Ah to her car.
"It's a shame that I'll have to leave just after; I see you again," Min Ah said.
"We can't help that! But there are many ways for us to be in touch with each other." Ji Pyeong optimistically said.
