Won-Deok was curious about what was happening, "A-Hyun, do you know Min-Ah?" she asked as she signaled them to sit down.
A-Hyun and Min-Ah sat— in front of Won-Deok and Ji Pyeong, "Yes, Eommoni! Min-Ah is In-Jae's friend," A-Hyun answered.
"Ah!" Won-Deok said. However, she still did not fully understand her and wanted to hear more details, "Goodboy, how did you get to know Min-Ah?" she asked.
"Min-Ah and I have been friends for a long time, and we are reunited at Sandbox, Halmeoni," Ji Pyeong said.
A-Hyun was still curious about the unexpected information, "Look at that! What a small world! But what are you doing at Sandbox? Did you give up your practice and decide to open a business there?" she directly asked her.
"No, Eommoni! I went to see someone that's working there. And that's when Ji Pyeong and I crossed paths again," Min-Ah explained.
"Min-Ah and I went to the same University," Ji Pyeong added.
"A...h!" A-Hyun said, then she looked at Won-Deok, "Eomeoni, Do you remember when we asked Dal-Mi about In-Jae, and she said that they met In-Jae's friend?"
"O..."
"Min-Ah was that FRIEND!" A-Hyun said with emphasis.
"The 'Pretty Doctor'?" Won-Deok asked.
"Yes, Eommoni!" A-Hyun confirmed.
Won-Deok looked like she finally understood the situation. Ji Pyeong looked at Min-Ah proudly while Min-Ah felt shy as she heard them call her pretty doctor.
Then, Won-Deok held Ji Pyeong's hand, "Good boy, have you eaten already?" she asked.
"Not yet, Halmeoni. That's one of the reasons why I am here— I can't get enough of your food!"Ji Pyeong told Won-Deok.
Won-Deok asked A-Hyun to prepare their lunch. She stood up and put a 'closed' sign on the door— first. And when she was about to enter the kitchen, Min-Ah volunteered to help too. And Ji Pyeong was left with Won-Deok.
"Good boy, do you not have work today?" Won-Deok asked.
"I am on a break, Halmeoni," Ji Pyeong answered.
"You're on a break? Why?" she asked curiously again.
"I just feel like it, Halmeoni," he said and smiled.
Won-Deok came closer to Ji Pyeong and talked to him in an almost whisper, "By the way, Goodboy, you didn't bring any friends here, and it's a girl on that,"
Ji Pyeong smiled at her. He anticipated that much from her, "I know what you are thinking, and it's not," he dismissed her idea.
"But Dal-Mi said: You and Min-Ah are super close," Won-Deok said, implicated more.
"Halmeoni, as I said earlier: Min-Ah has been my friend since our university days. It's just natural that we were close. And she already likes somebody else," he told her.
"Are you disappointed that she likes somebody else?" she asked.
Ji Pyeong smirked, "Why would I be disappointed?" he said as if he heard something absurd, "However, I just couldn't understand why someone as lovely, helpful, and easy to get along with as Min-Ah could still be single, not to mention a beautiful girl! " he asked.
"You should be asking yourself that! Since you are everything you just described. So, why are you still single then?" Won-Deok asked him playfully.
Ji Pyeong laughed, "I think you know the answer to that better than anyone!"
