Ji Pyeong immediately called Dal Mi.
"I just run into— Mr. Nam. I have said some things to him, trying to stop him from seeing you. He might have the wrong idea about us. I am sorry! But you can still catch up to him if you want to!" he said, and he felt guilty.
"No, it's okay! He's leaving for the US— soon! anyway!" Dal Mi said. He heard her exhale, "Also, our relationship ended three years ago," she added.
"Thank you for saying those things." Ji Pyeong said, and he hung up.
He couldn't deny that he was relieved to have heard those words from her. Though he knew she was not alright, and that worried him much more than the fact that Dal Mi and Do San had met.
He sighed deeply.
"Let us just focus on our work today!" he said to himself and went to his office.
"Director Han!" Dong-Chul said, giving him the proposal for another start-up business.
"What is this about?" He asked while he took the folder from him.
"It's business about the apps that finds available restaurants near you." Dong Chun relayed.
Ji Pyeong studied the business plan Dong-Chun gave him shortly after he sat at his desk. But he couldn't concentrate on what he was reading. He kept thinking about how to comfort Dal-Mi; and his conversations with Do-San. He stood up and brought the proposal with him on his way out, "Dong Chun, I am going out," he informed him, but he didn't wait for his reply.
He was on his way to a coffee shop nearby when Mrs. Sun-Hak Yoon —the founder and CEO of Sandbox, saw him, "Mr. Han!" she called.
Ji Pyeong stopped and slightly bowed to her, "Mrs. Yoon," he said.
"I heard about the ransomware attack yesterday. How's Cheong Myung doing?" she inquired.
"They are fine. They were able to solve it last night." he relayed.
"O, I see! It's good that they solve it. Because their demonstration is just around the corner. So, how do they solve it?" she asked more.
"They found the decryption key and have all their file restored..."Ji Pyeong paused. He wanted to stop, but he felt she needed to know every detail of the story, "...And Mr. Nam came together with Mr. Lee, Mr. Kim, and Ms. Jung. They all helped Ms. Seo last night!" he finished. Mrs. Yoon was surprised to hear their names, "I see! I thought those three were in the US?" she asked.
"Mr. Nam said they're not here permanently. And according to him, 2sto only give them some time for a vacation." he relayed.
She sighed, "It's such a shame to have lost such talent like Mr. Nam, but I am happy for him. At least we helped him spread his wings. Just look at him now; he is flying high already," she happily said as she remembers the Samsan Tech.
Ji Pyeong scratched his forehead. He didn't like to talk about them any longer, "Mrs. Yoon, I am sorry! But I think I have to go now! I still need to look at this proposal," he said while he showed her the folder he was holding.
"O! Sorry, go! Go!" she said.
He slightly bowed his head and left.

At the coffee shop, Ji Pyeong sat at an isolated table in the corner. Quiet and peaceful was what he wanted. He has a cup of brewed coffee on his table while he reads. However, the loud laughter of a 'some' man distracts him. He looked up to see where the laugh came from. Then, he saw it was coming from Sang Su—In-Jae's stepbrother.
Ji Pyeong tried to ignore Sang Su and continued with his reading. However, Sang Su's laughter grew louder. It had become more annoying. Ji Pyeong looked up again; he saw Sang Su with Min Ah. They're chatting as if they've already known one another for a long time. He frowned at the sight of them, "How do they know each other?" he asked in his mind. Seconds later, he received a text message from Min Ah.
I know you can see us. Can you please save me here?!?
Ji Pyeong frowned as he was her message. He looked at Min Ah, and she signaled him to come. Skeptical about what was happening, he approached them.
"Ji Pyeong!" Min Ah said excitedly. Liked she was 'truly' startled to see him.
Ji Pyeong smirked at the looked of her.
"Min Ah, In-Jae's brother," he greeted them.
"Mr. Han! What are you doing here?" Sang Su asked, surprised to see him too.
" I am just doing some reading. And I would appreciate it if you lowered your voice. Your laughter is too loud; it's distracting me." Ji Pyeong said directly to Sang Su.
