The loud cheers fills my ears, the wind whipping in my hair. It's a perfect day for a quidditch game, and a perfect day to win. I myself do not play quidditch, but Regulus does. Over the course of a week me and Reg have grown closer. We have a lot in common, we both like potions, we both like spending our afternoons in the library, and our favorite food are acid pops! I walk through the filled bleachers with Cissa, Sev, Lucius, and Nate. Surprisingly, Sev came along with us. Sev doesn't like quidditch that much, but he came because he heard Lily Evan's would be here. Not surprisingly, Marco plays quidditch, he's the teams beater. Reg is the team's seeker, and a bloody good one at that. The royal blue capes soar through the sky, circling the quidditch pitch. The cheers from the gryffindor's, hufflepuff, and ravenclaw stands go absolutely berserk. Then, the green capes fly in. They do flips and tricks, and the slytherin team cheers a thousand times louder than all the other stands, mostly because the other stands aren't cheering at all. I see Reg in the sky, hand on his broom. Madame Hooch gives out her usual speech, and the game begins. The blue and green capes shoot through the sky, going left, right, down, up. They all blur together, like when you drop your things and they get all mixed up.
I can't seem to find Reg, which means he's out searching for the snitch or he's trying to catch it. I manage to find Marco is the air, right when he beats a bludger with his bat and knocks off some poor ravenclaw chaser. My stand goes wild, and I think that if I scream any louder I'll lose my voice. Cissa is jumping up and down, and Lucius is pumping his fist in the air. Nate is shouting his lungs out, even Sev is politely clapping.
"C'mon Marco beat them to the ground!" I scream, not caring if he can't hear me. I smile broadly, happy that I get to be with my friends. A 3rd year by me is climbing on top of the bleachers, waving his flag from there. The ravenclaw stands then erupt in cheers when one of the chasers throws the quaffle into the hoops. The slytherin stands boo and groan. Then, one of the slytherin chasers get the quaffle, taking sharp twists and turns and throwing it into the ravenclaw hoops. The slytherin stands erupt with cheers, that get even louder when I catch a glimpse of Reg and the ravenclaw seeker racing for the snitch.
"SLYTHERIN! SLYTHERIN! SLYTHERIN!" Me and the others shout. While most people are watching the seekers, Marco takes his bat and bludger and beats one of the ravenclaw keepers, letting a clean shot go through the hoops. Yes!
"Go Reg! Go!" I shout to him, flapping my hands in the air. I notice that Cissa and Luscius are gone, where are they? I take a look around to lock eyes with him. All the cheers are drowned out, all the happiness is sucked out, everything. But the memories come flooding back. I can almost feel the stinging on my cheeks, my eyes start to water. Him. I can see the bruises on my arms and legs, hear his angry shouts. Him. When I left him, I tried telling myself it was love at the wrong time. Right people, wrong time, that's what the muggles say right? But it wasn't love, it was just heavy manipulation. And in that moment I realized, I don't remember who I was before he broke me. I don't remember what I looked like or what I liked. If I dressed diffrent or if I talked differently. I don't remember a thing, because I let him take me away. I let him tell me what I could and couldn't do. And that's one thing I'll never forgive myself for.
"Mel! Mel, did you see that? Reg cought the snitch!" Cissa pops up by me out of nowhere, jumping up and down excitedly. Smile, Melanie, smile.
"That's awesome!" I watch as he flies to the ground, the golden snitch in his hand glinting in the sun. The slytherin stands are cheering louder than they ever were before, and I know the celebration party is going to be good.

"You did amazing Reg!" I congratulate him, patting him on the back. His smile stretches from ear to ear, his teammates swarming around him.
"I probably wouldn't have won of it weren't for your cheering." He slyly answers.
"You heard me?"
"Above everyone else." I slap his shoulder playfully, walking to the common room with an arm around his shoulder. As soon as the portrait door opens, my ears ring with cheers and shouts, hollers and smiles. Reg is pulled into the crowd, and I watch smiling as he chugs down a bottle of fire whiskey. I catch a glimpse of Cissa and Lucius in the corner, sucking eachother's faces off. I roll my eyes and strut over to Reg, swiping the whiskey out of his hands and swallowing whatever was left. More cheers erupt, and the party starts for real.
