Charlie's POV

I got up early, as usual, and lightly knocked on Willow's door. I didn't hear the usual groan that she gave me when I knocked this time. I slowly opened the door and peeked through. Willow wasn't in her bed... I was just about to turn around when all of a sudden I felt two pokes in my waist. It scared me so I kind of tripped and fell to the ground. I'm also really ticklish so that didn't help my situation either. I looked up to see Willow standing next to me, smiling mischievously.

"Willow you're so dead!" I told her in an angry tone. "Not unless you can catch me!" Willow said as she started to bolt down the stairs. I was a bit thankful for having longer legs then her, but she was sitll fast for having shorter legs. I got up quickly and started to chase her down the stairs. She took a left after the stairs and then another left into the kitchen. Willow ran towards the door that was at the very end of her kitchen to escape to the backyard. I reached out for her hand but just barely missed and almost fell forward.

Willow was at the door and when it wouldn't open she realized that she locked it before going to bed last night. She tried turning the lock with fumbling hands. I decided to act a bit over dramatic and dove down and grabbed her leg, causing her to fall right next to me. We both lie there laughing our butts off for about five minutes before we sat up.

"Well good morning to you too." Willow said still giggling. I let out a breathy chuckle and stood up. I offered my hand out to Willow. She took it and I pulled her up. "I'll make some breakfast while you're in the shower." Willow offered. I nodded and ran back up the stairs.

After my shower, I got a white v-neck, a white and black plaid shirt (which I left unbuttoned), some dark blue jeans, a gray beanie, and some black Adidas sneakers.

I ran back downstairs to see some waffles on the table. As I passed Willow, I mumbled a quick 'Thank you.' and sat down at the table.

About 30 minutes later I could hear Willow's shoes clicking down the stairs. I turned around to see her. Willow was wearing her hair down, had a very light pink dress on with gray floral print on it, a short jeans jacket that only went to about the middle of her torso, and some short-heeled brown boots.

"Ready to go?" Willow asked jingling her keys. "Yep. But just know this, I will get you back Willow" I told her with a smirk. "Yeah, yeah, let's get going pretty boy." Willow said with a roll of her eyes. We grabbed our backpacks and left.

Once we got to school, Willow and I parted our ways to our different classes. I hated not being with her. It wasn't all that fun without her with me. But at least I had some of my other friends in my classes. I guess that would fill a little bit of the void I felt when she was gone.

The day went pretty normal. Then again, when were my friends and I ever normal? Anyways, after school I went to the band/choir room like always, and Willow was already there as usual. But something was different. She wasn't playing the piano but standing next to the piano, as if waiting for me. I walked in and came up to her.

"You okay?" I ask. "Not exactly." Willow said, nibbling on her nails. That was a sheer sign she was nervous. "Okay what's up?" I ask her, getting a bit worried now. "Austin actually asked me out this time." Willow said in an irritated voice. "Hasn't he been asking you out?" I ask her. "Well, more like flirting. Anyways, he said he's, like, in love with me. I need you to do something for me. I already know you're gonna hate it but please, I don't want to break his heart." Willow told me. I could tell she really meant it. "Alright what do you need me to do?" I ask her. "I may have sort of kind of maybe told him that we were dating..." Willow said blushing from embarrassment and look at her now torn nails.

Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. She told Austin we were dating? This is so not real it couldn't be. I can see why she picked me because we are super close and I would do anything for her, but this just feels like a dream.

"You're serious?" I asked her raising my eyebrows. Willow nodded and continued biting her nails. "I know I shouldn't have said that before talking to you but what else was I supposed to do? Rip his heart into little pieces? I can be pretty evil but not that evil. All you have to do is act like my boyfriend whenever we're at school and that's it." Willow told me, now looking me straight in the eye. I let out a sigh to make it look like I wasn't completely okay with the situation. "Fine. But you owe me." I told her. "Okay, whatever. Thank you so much Charlie!" And at that, Willow wrapped her arms around my waist and gave me a big squeeze. Willow smiled and sat down at the piano and we started to play.

Hopefully I can manage this without giving myself up. Willow can't know I love her. I'm just afraid that it would ruin our friendship if she didn't feel the same way. And by the looks of it, she doesn't. She has only told me she loves me like a brother, which is a hard blow to take. But I still love her. I just hope I can manage...
