Charlie's POV

It was 12pm now and I was still wearing just my pajama bottoms. I was still at Willow's house and was making my lunch. I made Willow an extra sandwich just in case she came by.

I was just about to sit down in the living room when all of a sudden I heard frantic knocking at the front door. I quickly went towards it but Jess and Sammy spilled into the house before I could get to the door.

"Charlie! We've got major news! You might wanna sit down for this though..." Sammy said quickly.

I was very confused but sat back down in the armchair. Jess and Sammy sat down on the couch next to my chair.

"Charlie, knowing me, you realize I'm not going to sugar coat anything. We caught Willow and Ben making out at Ben's house earlier today." Jess told me quite bluntly.

I didn't know what to feel at that moment. I felt so many horrible emotions but I just sat there, still processing what I just heard.

"I'm so sorry you had to find out this way. At least you didn't see it. I know that would have killed you even more. How do you feel?" Sammy then asked me.
"I don't really know. Every horrible emotion is flooding into me. I feel mostly betrayed. Ben knew I loved Willow but still went for her." I told them.
"We know and we feel the same exact way. We don't trust Ben anymore. We know he was kind of cocky but we didn't think he'd ever go this low." Jess told me.
"When we caught them making out Willow stormed out and looked super pissed at us. I have a feeling they might not come to the bonfire tonight..." Sammy told me.

We sometimes had bonfires at Willow's house to hang out and play games and just have fun together as friends.

"Do you need a hug?" Sammy asked me.
"No thanks Sam. I'm good." I said still deep in thought about everything.
"What are ya thinkin' Charlie?" Jess asked.
"Willow kissed me yesterday. Then she cried in the middle of it. Why would she kiss me and cry?" I asked Jess.
"Trust me she was just as confused as you. She didn't know why she did it either." Jess told me.
I nodded.
"Uhm Charlie? I don't mean to be off topic but why are you shirtless?" Sammy asked me.
"Lazy day today I guess..." I said a little quietly.
"Do you want to be left alone?" Sammy asked.
I nodded. "Tell Michael and Melissa too." I told them.
"We already did. We thought on our way here we could tell them that Ben is an idiot and we shouldn't trust him. They feel for you too." Jess told me.
I nodded.
"Maybe the bonfire will cheer us all up. Later Charlie!" Sammy said, and then I was all alone again.

Two hours later Willow came back home. She looked horrible. I mean, she always looked beautiful, but her face looked so dead and tired and I could tell she had been crying.

"Is everything okay?" I ask a bit irritated, still sitting in the same armchair.
"I know that Jess and Sammy probably told you already so don't pull this fake crap on me." Willow retorted sounding just as irritated.
"Sorry I asked..." I said.
"I'm sorry I'm being such a jerk right now. I'm just pissed off." Willow told me.
"At who? Your best friends? The ones you hid your relationship from? For what reason?" I asked, antagonizing her.
"I thought you guys would be mad or something!" Willow said still irritated.
"Why on earth would you think we would be mad?!" I yelled.
"Because I kissed you! I thought you would feel betrayed or something!" Willow yelled back.
"Why on earth would I feel betrayed?! That kiss obviously meant nothing! You know what I'm gonna leave. I need to get away from you and just everything right now." I told Willow.
"You're just gonna run away now?! You can't just run away from all of your problems Charlie!" Willow screamed at me.
"Well right now I can." I told her.

I got a t-shirt and some jeans on, slipped on a beanie and some Vans shoes, took my car and left. I couldn't handle yelling at Willow and her yelling at me. I needed to get away from that negative atmosphere and just drive for awhile.
