Mel POV
"Mel, my dear, why don't you take a seat? It's time for the brainwashing to begin." Said Lovac, gesturing to a chair next to him. I was promptly pushed from behind by my two guards and I unwillingly stumbled forward towards Lovac, much to his amusement, and my disgust.
"Sit." He commanded, staring at me with a voice full of power and authority. Pssh, like thats gonna happen, I thought, raising my eyebrows at him. I'm not here to sit down and have a nice chat over a cuppa, there was no fucking way I was listening to him.
"And if I don't?" I said digging my feet into the ground, stopping right in front of his face. Finally my courage had decided to make a late appearance.
"You'll kill me?" I said, feigning fear with a wide oven mouth and big eyes.
"Oh right, you can't can you." I said, dropping my act and standing tall and fearless. "You need me." I said confidently. "I am your prized pig, and you are not just gonna sell me to another farmer, or have me killed for the meat, you want to keep me for yourself, and you certainly want me alive and kicking, that way I am useful and profitable." I said, looking him up and down. "So no, I won't 'sit'. You can go fuck off." I said boldly, crossing my arms in satisfaction.
My satisfaction didn't last long, however, because Lovac was proper pissed and by the looks of it, he wasn't putting up with my little outburst. He narrowed his eyes at me, then stood up so he was right in my face.
"You will do well to answer to me." He said furiously calm. "You will respect me, follow my orders and not step one toe out of line. Or else."
"Or else what?" I said to him softly, looking him in the eyes. I smirked right in his face, and looked down and put my big toe over an invisible line right in front of me. "Oops." I said sweetly, putting my finger on my lips, really taking his words to heart. I was having fun, and I wasn't about to stop. "My bad. Are you going to tell on me now?" I said, pouting devilishly.
"Worse." He said, momentarily losing his temper and striking me across the face with lightning speed.
I saw the muscles in his arm twitch as he raised his arm to hit me, so it gave me a second of pre warning and I threw myself to the right, trying to get out of his reach, but I wasn't fast enough, and he managed to get clip the side of my face. I was lucky to have my cat reflexes, because otherwise I would have never seen it coming and I'd have a nasty bruise on the whole left side of my face.
I inhaled sharply as he hit my face, twisting mid-air so I wouldn't land in a crumpled heap on the floor. I landed lightly in a crouch, with my arms held slightly out for balance.
I didn't have time to straighten up, because Butch and Double-D were rushing forward to restrain me, obviously spurred on by Lovac, who was standing out of the line of fire, and letting the guards do the dirty work, of course.
I used my crouch to give me a boost of strength as I lunged towards Butch, head on. I tackled him, rugby style, taking him flying across the room as he grunted in surprise at my force.
We crashed into a trolley full of medical equipment, sending objects flying into all directions of the room. Luckily I was sheilded by Butch's massive frame, so I wasn't hit by any of the flying objects. As we landed of the floor, Butch's head smacked sickeningly against the hard floor, making an awful thudding sound. I landed on Butch, who took all of the fall damage so I was completely unharmed.
I was weary about taking down Double-D as he started to come in our direction, but I needn't of worried, as the blow to Butch's head took its toll, and his eyes rolled into the back of his head. He was completely unconscious.
