These next few chapters link nicely together with each other, I think you'll really enjoy them :D I'll let them speak for itself.
Thanks for all the comments and support, this chapter was already planned and partially written, it just so happens to be more on the action packed side :D wooooo
Let me just say that it has been FAR TOO LONG and I'm so sorry, you poor readers, I would personally be pulling some badass kick ass Mel moves on myself for being one slack motherf. Lets just say, life's been throwing me lots of things (and not sushi)
(The end was written on the sandy beaches of Hawaii, ahhhh bliss)
Thankya lovelies,

Mel POV
"Bye sweetie." I echoed, plastering a 'happy' smile on my face as I watched Mark disappear around the corner and into the gym office.
I smirked to myself at his nervous retreating figure, hoping that he'd trip or something. He had been so clingy and annoying lately, and I was in desperate need of some relief. Just a small stumble for me, please?? I prayed, hoping that the Gods were on my side, and would do something awesome and spontaneously fantastic, but as usual, they were silent, just watching, probably in great amusement at the utter shambles of a 'life' they had given me. "Dicks." I muttered to them, leaning against the nearest wall, keeping a watch out as the door to the office closed, knowing that whatever was going on in there was important, and here was as close as I could get to the action.
Several others had also just gone into the office; there was a meeting with Lovac in preparation for a 'mission' tomorrow. It had some sort of technical name, but I never bothered learning what it was, I liked calling it a mission better, it made it seem more exciting and mysterious.
It was the first time Mark had ever been offered to take part in one, and he was quite nervous, much to my smothered amusement. Only the best fighters were picked, and the ones that were, were greatly rewarded and praised by Lovac. They were known as the 'warriors' out of all out us, and everyone almost always came back with a crazy story or a vicious scar of some sort.
I had never been picked, apparently there were a "Just a few more adjustments." before I was able to partake in them, and I was dreading it. What could the adjustments even be? What the hell were they going to do to me?
Whatever it was, I had to get out before they did it, because it could potentially change everything and I wasn't sticking around to find out what it was. I did not want a third eye or anything.
Apparently this was the biggest mission yet, and months of planning and training had been taking place. I had been on simple raids before, I vaguely remembered them from when I had been brainwashed, with quick, small troop stealth captures, but this sounded more like a battle, with special equipment, weapons, and extra men. All senior trainers were taking part and there was a nervous buzz around the whole place.
I had caught word of the mission during training this morning, listening in stealthily with my advanced hearing whilst I was fighting another trainer. Well..I certainly wouldn't have called it fighting.
He was such a joke, I mean, I had virtually been running circles round him, he was breathless and panting, and I hadn't even raised my heart rate or broken a sweat. I would have killed him in a second if it were a real fight and he knew it and seemed to be shitting his pants. He was about my age, looking like the typical American, with baby blue eyes and golden blonde locks of hair. I couldn't resist, his name just had to be handsome now.
