Part 23 Khushi's Sly...
"I'm not coming to AR. Drop me here. I will go by auto." Khushi said.
"No... Dadi's man may follow you. Do what I said." Arnav said.
As it made sense, Khushi nodded ok.
She came to Arnav's cabin. Arnav called the receptionist and asked her to send coffee.
In a few minutes, Aman came to Arnav's cabin.
"ASR, your parents, and Dadi's passports are renewed. And this is extra Xerox copies of the proofs." Aman kept the passports and Xerox copies on the table.
Khushi looked at the passports. She took them in her hand and started giving a look.
"Aman, take Khushi with you when you leave AR..."
"Sure... I will call you, finishing my work."
Aman left his cabin.
"Are they going abroad?" Khushi asked Arnav.
"Mom and Dad used to come to London to meet me every year. Dadi never went out of India yet, we renew her passport too."
"Ohh..."
Suddenly, Khushi's eyes widened in excitement. At the same time, the receptionist came with a coffee tray.
Taking a pen and paper from Arnav's table without his knowledge, she noted down something and kept it back silently. Arnav took a coffee cup and sipped it as if he didn't notice her act. Doesn't he know what will she do? He smirked inwardly. Khushi also drank coffee.
"Then...?" He asked tasting the coffee.
"Then...?" She frowned.
"We were talking something about RIGHTS..."
"What do you want me to say?" she asked sighing.
" Tell me the truth..."
"What truth?"
"That, you too love me..."
"I will say when I really do..."
Arnav kept the cup sighing. He leaned on the seat looking at Khushi.
"Where is the chain I wore on your neck?"
Khushi touched her neck.
"I removed it when your Dadi evacuated us from the house."
"Why? Didn't you trust me?"
"How could I trust an arrogant Dadi's grandson?"
"Why not you trust a kind Dada's grandson?" he asked calmly.
Khushi was lack of words. No doubt, he is Dada's grandson.
"I was not ready to build an imaginary castle which had a chance to break down anytime." She said sternly.
"It seems Dadi's grandson has to work hard to get Chutki's trust..."
She stared at him, said nothing.
Aman came finishing his work. Arnav gave Khushi a parcel.
"What's this?"
"Open the cover and see," Arnav said.
Khushi removed the parcel and saw two PARDAs in it. She looked at him questioningly.
"Whenever you and aunty come out, wear this. It will keep you safe."
Khushi nodded ok.
"When will you leave?" Aman asked Arnav.
"After fifteen minutes..."
