Waking up is war as usual. I really want to smash the fucking alarm into the wall but I refrain.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm a morning person but I just hate getting up. Once I get up though, I'm totally fine.

One thought's running through my head though, the whole pack's going to find out that Alpha Derek is my mate.

So with that thought, I drag myself out of bed and proceed to take a shower. Breakfast's by 7 so I have thirty minutes to get ready.

Deciding to go casual, I pull on a white knit top with a wide neck which makes it fall off one shoulder. I match it with a pair of dark blue jeans and black tennis shoes.

I pull my hair into a bun and allow a few strands to escape just to frame my face. I apply a bit of mascara and lip gloss and wear a random necklace with a key pendant.

Once I look presentable enough, I grab my phone and head out. Mom and Dad must have headed to Alpha Jack's office so I lock the door and place the key under the mat. Typical, I know. I walk to the pack house which isn't too far from our cabin.

As I enter, I'm greeted by a squeal. Damn.

"Remi! You're back!" Angel, a cute brunette that's the same age as me squeals. Once she says that, she engulfs me in a hug and others follow.

"Hi guys". There's a sound of many 'how are you's and 'I knew you were innocent's. We all walk to the dining room and I take a seat among the other teenagers.

The adults that are present give me wary looks but I ignore them. My parents walk in with Alpha Jack and Alpha Derek and everywhere quiets down.

The whole dining is quiet and I take notice of the fact that Nicholas isn't here. I should probably have ill feelings towards him but I don't. Why? I once read a book which basically explained that if there's a prophesy concerning someone, anybody can be used to fulfill that. Even when he or she doesn't want to act that way.

If Nicholas was really an asshole, I highly doubt that Andrew would be friends talk more of best friends with him.

Nicholas walks into the dining looking stressed and smiles once he sees me. He walks towards me and engulfs me in a hug. Because of my mental rant earlier, I decide to just go with it so I hug Nicholas back.

"I'm so sorry, I'm sorry". I pat his back a little. This isn't so bad.

"It's not your fault besides I'm fine". He chuckles and let's go of me. Alpha Derek clears his throat and I kinda tense. I totally forgot he was here.

Nicholas smiles at me and walks to his seat while a take a seat. Just then, Andrew and Bree walk in and take their seats.

With everybody seated, the cooks start bringing out the food. There's eggs, bacon, waffles, pancakes, yoghurt, fruit. Every breakfast food I can think off is here.

It helps to give a sense of variety. If there was a given timetable, many people would probably not be in the mood for the meal of the day so varieties are prepared.

That's only for breakfast though. Lunch and dinner have a timetable and each day has six main dishes that are served and eight side dishes per meal.

Once the two Alphas and my parents take their food, its time for Andrew, Bree and I to take ours. After us, everyone can begin taking their food without minding their ranks.

I take some pancakes for myself and drizzle on some syrup and dig in almost moaning at the taste. If there's anything I love about our pack, it's the food, it's totally mind blowing.
