Chapter 9

~Next Day~ (Thursday) 

~Hinatas POV~
When I got to school Yams looked at me worriedly. "What's wrong Yams?" "Hinata, did you see the photo online?" He asked, he had his phone in his hand. "No? What photo?" He turned on his phone and showed me the photo he was talking about. 

I froze. So that's why Ma and Mom were quiet this morning.

It was Kuroo, kissing the girl. The caption caught my eye, 'Look at my son and his beautiful girlfriend!' I felt a lump in my throat. "Oh Hinata..." Yams hugged me. "H-He said he d-didn't l-like her." He rubbed my back trying to calm me down. "It's alright Sho, you could find someone better!" He said, "I'll take you out for ice cream? Teru is going to be there, hope you don't mind." He said wiping my eyes and trying to cheer me up, "S-sure, ice cream sound g-good right now." 

We walked to class, everyone was looking at me, seeing that the cheerful angel wasn't as cheerful as usual. 

School was dreadful today, everyone kept asking me what was wrong, even the teachers! 

I don't want to go to practice today...I walked into the gym and immediately got pulled into a group hug. "Yams asked if you two could go out instead of practice because of what happened." Daichi said, "You can, you need to feel better." Suga said, "Thanks guys." "Aw, no problem, we'll always be there for you." Noya said, everyone else agreed.

We left the gym and started to walk to the ice cream shop. "Oh! I forgot to mention, Teru texted me earlier saying that he was going to bring a friend. I hope you don't mind, you two might get along." Yams said, "Sure, I need more friends anyways." "Are you sure you're okay?" Yams asked me stopping, "Yea, we weren't even dating, so I shouldn't make a big deal out of it anyways." Yams looked at me for a second. "Alright, but remember, if you need someone to talk to, I'll be here." He said hugging me before continuing to walk.

We got to the shop and saw two guys sitting at a table, one with dyed blonde hair which was Terushima, and another one I don't recognize. He had blue died hair, and brown eyes. (this is a made up character!) "Hey Teru." Yams said hugging him, "Hi Yams~" Teru said kissing Yams, Yams blushed, "Hey." I said waving a little, "Oh! Hi! I'm Kaito!" The blue haired boy said, "I'm Hinata." I said sitting down, "We're going to get the ice cream, which ones do you want?" Yams asked, "I'll have mint chocolate chip." Kaito said, "I'll get vanilla with caramel. Thanks Yams."

Kaito turned to me, "So, what grade are you in?" I turned to look at him, "I'm a 1rst year. What about you?" He smiled, "A 2nd year, I'm in Teru's school." "Nice..." It was quiet for a few seconds until Yams and Teru came back. "Here you go." Yams handed me my ice cream and Teru handed one to Kaito, "Thanks."

We all talked and laughed for the next couple hours till I wanted to go. "Well, I gotta go now, bye." I stood up, "Wait." Kaito stood up as well. I could see Yams and Teru smile and hide their faces. "C-could I get your number?" He asked, I blushed a little, "S-sure." I gave him my number and was about to start walking, "Oh, and um, could I walk you home?" I smiled, "Yea." Yams gave me a thumbs up and laughed.

"I didn't actually wanna go home..." I said, "Really?" "Yea, I just couldn't stand how lovey dovey they were with each other." I laughed, Kaito laughed with me, "Yea, I'm glad Terushima has someone like Yamaguchi." He said, "Me too, Yams deserves someone good." Instead of us going home, we walked to a nearby café for some food. 

We ordered and sat down in a booth. "So~ Kaito, any hobbies?" I asked him taking a sip out of my drink. "Yea, I like playing basketball. What about you?" He asked taking a bite out of him food, "I play volleyball. It's amazing." He smiled, "And I also like to skate." He looked surprised, "Really? I do too." I smiled, I remembered that I forgot to ask him earlier, "Are you a angel or devil?" "I'm a angel." He said, "Me too." 

We stayed in the café until Kuroo walked in. He was with the girl from the photo. My smile dropped. "Is everything okay?" Kaito asked. I nodded my head, "Y-yea. Just saw someone I didn't want to see at the moment." He looked a bit worried. "Oh, we can leave if you want." "Please." We stood up and before we could leave, My name was called. "Hinata?" I turned around, I saw Kuroo with the girl and some adults, probably his parents. "What?" I said coldly, I looked at the girl, she was beautiful, no wonder he lied. He looked a bit sad, no Shoyo, don't give in. "Can you hurry up? We have to go." Kaito said, Kuroo looked over to him, "Oh, sorry, I just wanted to ask if you were going to the park later?" I looked at the adults behind him, they looked pissed. "Um, I'm going there now with Kaito, might not be able to go later. Say hi to your girlfriend for me." I fake smiled at him and left. 

"Um, if you don't mind me asking, but, who was that?" Kaito asked once we got to the park. I sighed and looked at him. "That. Was, um a crush? Of mine. He lied to me about something. Something really important." Kaito looked at me, "Oh, but he looked at you with so much adoration though." He said sitting down on the bench. "I don't even know. He lied to me that he didn't like the girl he was with, but this morning I found out that it was his girlfriend. I was pretty upset about it." I felt him hug me. "Hey, it'll be okay. I'll be here to cheer you up!" He said, I smiled at him, "Thanks." 

We stayed at the park until it was dark and I knew that Kuroo was going to be here in a few minutes. "Bye, I'll text you." He said. "Yea, bye." With that I walked back to my house.
