Chapter 23

~Hinata's POV~
I walked home after school. More like ran. I'm too excited to see Kuroo.

When I got there Ma and Mom were in the living room. "I'm home." I said walking into the room. "Where's Kuroo?" I asked them. The two were hugging until Mom looked up. Her eyes were red and puffy. "Mom? Is everything okay?" I walked closer. 

She smiled, "It's fine. Kuroo's in the room. He's asleep. He...He was crying earlier and fell asleep." She said. "Oh...I'm going to go check on him then." I said going up. "Okay but be down for dinner, and nothing bad!" I blushed and ran to my room while the two of them laughed. "Oh and we're going out later! Behave!" "Don't worry! We will!" I yelled back.

I walked in and Kuroo was on the bed asleep. I walked closer to the bed. He looks so cute! His hair was everywhere, but his nose looked a little red and his eyes were a bit puffy. Is that why Mom was crying? I'll ask them later.

I went to go change in the bathroom and came back out in the yellow hoodie and sweats. I might go skating later and see if Kuroo wants to come. 

I went back downstairs to get some food, Ma and Mom already left, when Skittle ran by. "Skittle! No! Come here." I said it before he could go up the stairs and he ran over to me. I bent down and pet him, "Skittle, don't bother Kuroo okay? He's tired and need some rest." 

He barked and went to the living room.

I looked around the kitchen for something to eat. "Hm, w-what time is it?" I turned around and Kuroo was by the doorway rubbing his eyes. He looks so hot! His hair was a mess but that made himlook better! Shoyo. Stop with the gay panic! "It's 4:25." He nodded his head. "Want anything to eat?" I asked him, "Sure, I skipped breakfast this morning so I'm a bit hungry right now." He said, still standing there. "Alright. You can sit down if you want. I'll make something for us." I said grabbing the stuff to make some noodles. "Nah." He walked over to me and hugged me from behind. "I wanna stay here." 

HIS HANDS ARE WRAPPED AROUND MY WAIST. AND HIS HEAD IS ON MINE! SHOYO. DON'T GAY PANIC! I'M PANICING!

"A-alright." "Your ears are really red. Are you okay?" He asked me, I'm blushing! "Y-yea, I'm fine!" I exclaimed. "Okay..."

I began to make the noodles and whenever I need to get something, he wouldn't let go and walk with me. After a while of sorta struggling to make the noodles I finished. "Done~" I said setting the plates down. Kuroo still hugging from behind. "Already?" He mumbled, "Yes silly." I laughed. He squeezed my waist before letting go. OH MY GOD! "You alright?" He asked when he sat down. "Y-yup!" I said sitting down quickly. 

We started to eat after saying "Itadakimasu." I think I made enough for Ma and Mom. They can have some when they come back. "Hinata?" I looked up, "Yea?" I asked, Kuroo was playing with his food. "Um, d-do you want to go on a date on Sunday?" He asked me. A DATE!? SAY YES! "I would love to. But why not Saturday?" I asked, since Saturday is closer, but why do Sunday. "Oh I have practice on Saturday and I'm free on Sunday, unless you're not." He looked up from his food. 

We're basically staring into each others eyes. I don't know how long we were staring but we snapped out of it when Skittle barked. "Hi Skittle. What do you need?" I looked at Skittle. He was smiling, he put his paw on my leg. "Hm? You want some?" I held up the noodles. "He barked again. "Okay, here you go." I gave him some of the veggies and a noodle and went back to eating. "He can eat this?" I looked up. "Yea, dogs can eat most things. But we still need to be careful." "Oh, okay. Want to go skating later?" He asked taking a bite out of the food. "Yea, we can go around 8 or 9." He nodded his head and went back to eating.

(idk if dogs can eat that, I have no experience with pets)

After we ate he did the dishes even though I said he didn't have to. "You cooked so I do the dishes." That's what he said. So I let him. I took out my phone to tell the others what's happening.
