A/N: DOUBLE UPDATE.  Please read Chapter 15 first.

Y/N:

I woke up the next morning, my mind filled with thoughts of the handsome man. Although I fallen asleep my heart heavy, he had filled my dreams. He had always been so kind to me, so polite. I had been caught staring at him in the kitchen yesterday and I was surprised Emira didn't say anything about it. It was almost as if there was something she knew that I didn't. I didn't want to admit to myself that I cared for him. More than I should considering the fact that I was a married woman. I scoffed at the thought, a married woman. Yeah married to a man who had zero care for me seeing as he was still seeing his mistress.

I shuddered at the thought of Mina. I absolutely despised that woman. Despised her with every bit of my heart and soul. I had never met anyone who was so cruel in my life. I had tried to be polite but she chose to flaunt the relationship with her and Soobin. For those that didn't know, her little innuendos could be played off as innocent, but unfortunately I knew better.

After showering quickly, I dressed in clothes I had requested Emira to lay out for me: a mint green silk shirt that was cinched at the waist and hung below my hips and a pair of dark grey dress pants. The thought of my friend brought a smile to my face. I was so unbelievably happy for her and Chef Jin. The man was kind and devastatingly handsome. There couldn't have been a better man for my closest friend.

I headed down to the dining room and noticed the handsome man sitting at the table with a couple others, cups of coffee in front of them. They stood as I entered, bowing slightly and the handsome man approached. Similar to yesterday's lunch, he offered me his arm. "May I escort you to your seat princess?" he asked, his voice husky.

I took his arm with a smile and shiver ran through me at the feel of his warm skin against my own. "Thank you," I replied, feeling the heat pass across my cheeks when he grinned down at me. He had to know the effect her had on me. There was no denying it.

After I was seated, he joined the others at the table and lifted his cup to me in a silent toast. I smiled back, giggling a little at his cute behavior.

After Soobin arrived and took his seat at my side, Chef Jin came in with the morning meal: a wonderful buffet of fluffy scrambled eggs, spicy sausage links and crisp bacon, along with perfectly browned toast and homemade strawberry jam.

As I enjoyed the spread, I made small talk with Emira. We had planned on returning to the library before lunch. Namjoon had some time free and was curious to know my thoughts on The Taming of the Shrew. I had started the book the day before and immediately became entranced with the plot.

I was in the middle of the conversation with Emira when I felt a hand on mine. I turned and was surprised to see Soobin with his gaze focused on me. "Would you be interested in strolling the gardens with me after the meal?" he asked, his voice soft.

I hesitated before answering but then gave him a small smile. "That... that would be lovely," I replied, not really interested in spending time with him, but knowing it would be poor manners to refuse the request of a prince.

Soobin squeezed my hand gently then released it, turning back to his conversation with the Duke. I caught Mina's eye and saw the barely concealed rage visible on her face. I turned my gaze away from her, wanting to avoid the hatred clearly visible in her eyes. "Emira, would you please inform Namjoon that I will meet him in one hour?"

Emira nodded, a tight smile on her face. She knew I was not looking forward to being alone with Soobin. The last time we had been near each other without anyone to buffer the situation, he had been extremely unkind.
