"Yeah, let's go" you say to Purple, and the pair of you head to security. You watch the cameras together, seeing people running around. You observe Brown going through a hallway, shortly followed by Lime and Black on the same screen heading in the opposite direction. Purple spins in the chair, and then says that she is going to the cafeteria. You don't even ask why, you're too fixated on the cameras. You see Cyan heading to Navigation, Brown to reactor. Then you see brown on the same screen again, heading into security-

WAIT HANG ON A SECOND

You spin around quickly, seeing Brown stood behind you.

"Hey Brown" you say, trying to sound cool even though he just scared you half to death.

"Hi. Whatcha doin? Why aren't you doing tasks" he casually asked

"I was hanging out with Purple."

Speak of the devil, Purple entered with two big bags of crisps, and the two of you begin scoffing. You offer some to Brown, who politely declines. He then says that he needs to do his tasks, kindly advised you and Purple to do yours, and is about to leave when the lights go out. You hear footsteps as he retreats back into the room with you.

"I think the lights broke" you state, matter-of-factly.

"Yeah I guess" Brown said shakily.

"Well then? Go fix 'em" Purple demanded

"But I-" Brown protested.

You push him out of the door and tell him to head to Electrical. He gulps then slowly nods and reluctantly begins walking.

Suddenly, the doors close and Purple swivels around to look at you. No-one else is in the room. Purple just begins laughing, and you do too. Suddenly, an alarm goes off around the whole ship, startling the pair of you. An emergency meeting. The doors suddenly unlock and everyone heads to the cafeteria. Wait, who's missing?

"Brown, why did you call a meetin- oh?! Where is Brown?" Blue demands, slamming her fists into the table.

Brown enters backwards slowly, hunched over... dragging something?

Yellow rushes over to see what is going on, then screams and faints on the ground.

"Brown what the hell is going on?!" Blue yells at Brown, who breaks down in tears.

"I-It's Lime!" He manages to say, "I f-found him in electrical..."

He reveals what he had been dragging. The lifeless body of Lime. The room fills with shocked gasps and murmuring and crying. No one could believe what was happening.

Blue tried not to look shocked. She whispers to Green and they have hushed conversation. She whispers to Green again, this time he pulls out his tablet and starts doing something. Everyone quietens down as they watch, before Blue declared dramatically:

"One of our fellow crewmates have died today. They were murdered- in cold blood!"

This sent more gasps around the room

Whilst doing something on his tablet, Green added "And we know no-one else is on this ship other than us."

This sparked some more hushed conversation, then Blue yelled "SILENCE!"

"Okay" she continued "and so you have probably figured out what this means for our situation. It means that there is a murderer, an imposter, among us."

Blue whispers to Green yet again. Green nods to Blue, who explains

"You should now all have a link on your tablets. It will show a voting system. We need to weed out the imposter, and get rid of them. You have one vote each, but first we will have discussion time. Any questions?"

"What do you mean by 'get rid'?" Pink asked fearfully

"Well, we could kill them, but we decided that ejecting them is... a more humane way of handling things. That way we can also tell if they are the imposter or not."

Black piped up "isn't this all a bit too much? I mean, everyone's a bit freaked out right now, and what happens if we accidentally 'eject' an innocent crewmate?!"

"Well if we can only use the process of elimination, it is what we will have to do." Blue said monotonously.

You were extremely shocked at the cold-heartedness of Blue, who isn't even supposed to be in charge anyway. You decide you definitely don't like Blue.

"Okay, so we need to gather what we know. Any volunteers?"

"Well I was with Purple the whole time" you declare

"Yeah, that's true. We were in security." Purple added

"Security is pretty close to electrical..." Pink accused

"However, they can't be lying if they say they were together" Orange opposes.

Brown stands up for you too "I also saw them both in security"

"But why weren't you doing tasks?" Blue snarls

Black interrupts, not liking the tension "Why don't we think calmly and rationally. No one was looking for clues, I say we skip for now, and watch out for suspicious activity from now on."

"But if we don't act now, more people will be killed!" Cyan challenges

"Black has a point" Purple shrugs.

You have a sudden thought.
