"Hey, Yellow" you whisper.

"Yeah?" Yellow answers

"Can I tell you something?"

"Uhh-" Yellow looks confused "I mean, yeah, you didn't really need to ask but okay"

"Orange likes you" you whisper, and Yellow seems surprised. "You didn't know?" You ask

"Well-" Yellow responds

"It's kinda obvious" you casually say

"Really? You sure?" Yellow asks. "This isn't some kinda prank or..."

"Sooooo you like Orange too?" You guess from Yellow's reaction. Yellow pauses, then slowly nods.

"And definitely it's true! But Orange is kinda shy, that's all." You say

"Ah. So you're suggesting...?" Yellow nervously asks, and you nod, knowing what Yellow is thinking.

Orange walks back with three juice boxes. He passes one to Yellow and one to you. You discretely nudge Yellow, who jumps and takes a breath before asking "Hey, Orange, can we... talk for a minute?"

A quiet alarm goes off on Orange's tablet. You see an alert from vitals saying that his heart rate is much higher than it should be.

"Uhh, yeah sure, what about?" Orange panics

Yellow just laughs and gently pulls Orange to his feet and leads him out of the cafeteria. You smile and take a sip from your juice box. Dang it's empty. Well, Orange and Yellow hadn't opened theirs yet...

A bit later, Orange and Yellow come back in.
"So you told Yellow..." Orange laughs

"Ah, sorry about that, I just-" you begin, but get cut off

"Sorry? No! Thank you White." Orange says. "You helped me"

"So are you...?" You ask, and in response Orange and Yellow hold hands tightly.

"Just- please don't tell anyone else." Yellow says

"Seriously this time" Orange adds

"Yeah of course!" You beam. You move along so that Orange and Yellow can sit next to each other, and they keep holding hands under the table.

Mission compete. You think to yourself.

Oh wait. You only just remember that there is a rampaging murderer on the loose disguised as a crewmate and they could strike at any given moment.

You sigh. Maybe it was just a one-off?

You know it isn't true, but it still gives you a small sliver of hope.

All the crewmates eventually retire to their bedrooms. You yawn and knowing the doors were securely locked, can enjoy a fear-free night.

- time skip to morning -

You wake up, startled, to hear banging on your door. You cautiously open it and see a very annoyed looking Blue standing there, arms folded. "Come on. It's time for breakfast." She nags, before looking at the time on her tablet. "And can you please also get Purple, Orange, Brown and Yellow up for me?"

"Yeah okay I guess" you yawn.

Purple is closest. You knock and Purple eventually comes to the door. "Breakfast time" you call, and Purple immediately grabs her helmet and tablet before brushing past you, without saying a word. Ouch.

Brown was kinder than Purple was. And Yellow's door is next to Brown's.

You knock but there is no reply. Suddenly the door swings open. No one is inside. It must have been unlocked. You sigh and go to Orange's room, but notice that it is also unlocked. Maybe they're off somewhere you think to yourself, but open the door just to check.

Orange and Yellow are inside, sitting on Orange's bed, kissing. Oops.

Orange notices you first, and screams in surprise, falling backwards onto the floor. Yellow quickly spins around, and sighs in relief as it is you at the door. You chuckle as Yellow pulls Orange up off the floor, whose face is very red. Orange quickly reaches for his helmet to cover up his blushing, but Yellow pulls him back. "Last one."

They kiss again, and you laugh as Orange blushes even more. "Ever heard of privacy?" He jokes

"Hey, you left the door unlocked" you giggle.

"Sorry, that's my fault." Yellow admits "At least it wasn't someone else"

"Anyway. It's breakfast time. There's pancakes" you declare.

"Yes!" Orange exclaims

Orange walks past you and you pull his helmet off. "You can't eat with it on" you tease, before passing it back.

"Yeah I guess" Orange nervously laughs.

Yellow exits last and closes the door, and the three of you head down for breakfast. Orange and Yellow hold hands down the hallway, then let go as they step into the cafeteria.

The pancakes are really good. You finish up then decide your plan for today.

Choice:

- let Orange and Yellow go together and do your tasks alone (Page 94)
- do tasks with Orange and Yellow like yesterday (Page 96)
