"Hey, Red?" You ask casually

"Yeah White?" Red responds

"Do you umm-" yeah you didn't really think through how you were going to ask the question. "Well what Purple said... after you punched her in the cafeteria"

Red seems confused, trying to work out what you're asking. It suddenly clicks, and Red looks down to the floor avoiding your gaze.

"White, do you mean when... after she coughed up the blood?"

You just nod, kinda nervous for the answer.

Red thinks before they answer. "Well, of course I like you White. We're friends, right?"

You sigh. "You know what I mean-"

"I-I..." Red trails off.

You try not to laugh. Seems like Red doesn't even know.

"Sorry, did I make you uncomfortable?" You ask

"No, no, just..." Red seems lost for words. "I don't even know" Red attempts a laugh, but you can tell they are faking it.

So maybe there was some truth behind what Purple said.

All crewmates have to go to their individual bedrooms shortly after that.

- time skip to the morning -

You wake up and stretch. You're still quite tired. You wonder that time it even is. You grab your tablet off the floor and groan. 4:30.

"Are you kidding meee?" You groan to yourself in frustration

You know that you won't be able to get back to sleep, so decide to get a drink from the cafeteria.

You take one last look at the beautiful stars outside your large window before you exit.

You see Red sitting at the table in the cafeteria, chin resting on their hand and helmet placed on the table next to them. Red didn't hear you walk in, and their back is to you, so you grab a juice box from the side and then go to sit next to Red, who jumps when they realise you are there.

"Hey Red" you greet.

"What are you doing up this early?" Red asks

"Can't sleep" you shrug. "And you?"

"Same really. And I've been thinking. About yesterday." Red says, tapping on the table nervously.

You simply nod, not sure what to say.
"I guess it's a bit difficult, huh?" is all you manage to come up with.

"Yeah. Hard to understand. But in answer to your question..." the tapping on the table increases speed, and Red looks down to the floor "I guess Purple was right"

Red nervously glances up quickly to see your reaction.
