It was late when Alianna got back to her apartment. A tired sigh left her lips as she stepped into the living room. It felt good to be home though, even if there were still plenty of boxes to be unpacked. Something in her just wouldn't let her unpack them all. She walked past the living room boxes into the kitchen. As she leaned down to grab a snack from a cupboard, she noticed a light on down the hallway. So she drew her gun and made her way towards her room. Her eyes were trained ahead of her as she kicked her bedroom door open.

"Woah! What are you gonna do, shoot your sister?" The figure sitting on her bed asked.

"Diana! I didn't know you were home. I thought you, Papa, and Marcus were still in Italy with nonna and papy," Alianna set her gun down on her nightstand.

"Papa decided to cut our trip short, but Marcus decided to stay in italia con la nonna," Diana responded, her italian effortless.

"You know I hate that you know both of Papa's languages, and I only know French," Alianna tells her sister as she sits next to her.

"Maybe you should try harder," Diana teases, "So, heard our FBI agent sister got a promotion."

"Yeah, we just got back from a case in Oklahoma," Alianna told her, tossing her jacket on the floor, "How long are you back for, grande soeur?"

"A couple weeks, you mind if I crash in your guest?" Diana requested.

"Anytime, just ignore the boxes," Alianna answers.

"Sorellina, why haven't you unpacked?" Diana looked slightly worried for her little sister.

"Just got busy, don't worry, grande soeur," Alianna responds with a soft smile at her sister's worry.

"I always worry for you," Diana tells her, "So, can I meet this new team of yours?"

"Um... let me talk to them about that," Alianna states, "But I'm sure they'll agree."

"Are any of them attractive?" Diana's face is graced with a smirk.

"Those are my co-workers, my colleagues!" Alianna exclaimed with a blush, "Of course I wouldn't notice the attractiveness of them."

"What's his or her name?" Diana asked, knowing her little sister.

"I'm not telling you," Alianna got up to change into more comfortable clothes. She disappeared into her closet and came out with pj's on.

"You will eventually," Diana winked at Alianna. The latter rolled her eyes and sat next to her again. The sisters stayed up to talk and it was the early hours of the morning when Diana retired to bed.

Alianna walked into the bullpen the next day. In her hand was a coffee cup with an ungodly amount of espresso in it. She was obviously tired, the bags under her eyes could tell you that. Her and her sister had stayed up to late the night before, catching up on missed time.

"Well, ain't this a change from the put together girl we met a week ago?" Morgan teased, amused by the sight of Alianna.

"Do you have siblings?" Do not give them a key to your apartment," Alianna warned, taking a drink from her coffee cup, "Also, make sure they know to warn you before they make themselves at home in your apartment."

"Ooh, I so want to hear this story," Prentiss bumped her shoulder lightly.

"Almost shot my older sister last night," Alianna deadpans, "Didn't know that she had come over and the lights were on, so I had my gun out. Scared me half to death. Stayed up all night though."

"Roundtable in 5," Hotch tells them over the balcony.

"This is the day I die, isn't it?" Alianna groaned tiredly.

"Welcome to work at the BAU, you'll get used to it," Prentiss tells her softly, smirking at Alianna's groan. They all walked into the roundtable room together. Reid, Rossi, JJ, and Hotch were already in their seats. Alianna took a seat next to Hotch and Prentiss sat on the other side of her.

"Charles Luvet was found floating in a Miami marina last night," JJ read off the case details to the group, "Local M.E. thinks that he was only in the water for about an hour."

"Any attempt to weigh the body down?" Hotch asked her.

"Doesn't appear so," JJ answered. The team began to discuss the case, Alianna only chimed in every so often. She took notes though, to keep her thoughts in order. After a while the team dispersed to gather their things for the jet. Alianna was proud of herself for not forgetting her go bag at home. When the jet landed they took SUVs to the precinct. Alianna stuck next to Prentiss as they stepped out of said SUVs. The boys were having some form of a conversation that she paid no attention to.

"FBI," A female detective approaches them. Alianna put on her polite, professional smile as the woman approached.

"Yes," Morgan answered her with a smile of his own.

"Detective Lopez, Miami PD," She introduces herself, holding her hand out for Morgan to shake.

"Oh, um... Morgan," He shook her hand while Alianna tried her best not too snicker, "Derek."

"Tina," Lopez smirked at him, "So, Thank you for coming so quickly."

"Agent Jareau, JJ, we spoke on the phone," JJ introduced her to the detective.

"Yes," Lopez shook her hand with a polite smile.

"These are Agents Hotchner, Prentiss, Snyder, Rossi, Derek, and Dr. Reid," JJ tells her. Alianna waved with a polite smile.

"Well... I hope there's no test because I'm lousy with names," Lopez admits.

"Agent will be just fine," Rossi tells her. Alianna nodded in agreement with Rossi's statement.

"Hey, isn't that-" Prentiss cuts herself off as she points at a man approaching them. Alianna figures the team must have met him on a prior case since she had no recollection of him.

"Detective LaMontagne just arrived from New Orleans," Lopez explains, "To I.D. the cop they pulled from the bay last night."

"Uh- Detective, it's good to see you," JJ greeted him. The newest BAU change noted her change in demeanor and filed it away for later.

"Yeah, Charlie Luvet and I worked together for 7 years," LaMontagne says, "We haven't formally I.D.ed him yet, but we believe it's him."

"I'm so sorry for your loss," Alianna spoke up with a kind smile.

"I don't believe we've met," LaMontagne states, glancing at Alianna.

"Alianna Snyder, I just joined the BAU," Alianna introduced herself, holding her hand out for him to shake.

"Will Montagne," He shook her hand firmly, but gently.

"So the rest of you all know each other?" Lopez directed her question at Will and the rest of the BAU.

"Professionally," JJ answers quickly. Alianna, for the record, did not entirely believe her.

"Yeah, the BAU helped out on a case about a year ago," Will looked away from JJ, "Just for the sake of clarity, I'm not here to investigate. Charlie was supposed to be married this August, so if the guy that floated up last night was him then I guess I have the honor of notifying his fiancee. So she's gonna need some answers, closure, and I'm just here to get that for her."

"Do you know why he was here?" Rossi asked.

"He was meeting up with some college buddies to compete in a regatta," Will answered, "He was a big boat guy."

The group continued to talk about the case and it's details. Alianna ran a hand through her hair as the heat started to get to her. Who told her it was a good idea to wear a blazer? Oh right, her dear older sister. She sighed softly as she followed the team inside. Out of the corner of her eyes she noticed Will and JJ stop, but decided to let it go. They could figure their own stuff out. Instead, she decided to follow Rossi and Prentiss to look at evidence.
