"What do you mean 'Who's Celeste?' " Ron cried, laughing a little in disbelief.
"You're kidding, right?" I asked, studying their expressions for a sign of one of them laughing.
Hermione and Harry exchanged a concerned glance with one another, then turned back to us and looked at us like we were being insane.
"No..." Hermione trailed off, raising one eyebrow suspiciously.
"Who are you talking about?" Harry inquired, tilting his head to the side. "Does she go to school here?"
"Yes!" Ron and I exclaimed in unison, the two of us standing up in frustration.
"Celeste!" Ron cried, waving his hands around. "The girl who stayed at my house with us over winter break? Tried to sabotage me and y/n for months?"
"Obliviated Ron of all his memories of me?" I asked exasperatedly. "Is this ringing any bells?"
"Maybe the nail polish fumes are getting to your heads..." Hermione stated, grabbing the small bottle off of the dresser. "No one named Celeste has ever gone here."
Ron and I looked at each other in utter shock. There was absolutely no way they didn't know Celeste. She was with us for almost two weeks at the burrow. They had to be playing some sort of prank on us.
"Okay, whatever. Be that way," Ron shot dismissively. "We all know Celeste is a person who exists and goes to school here."
"Ron, you're scaring me," Harry replied skeptically, reaching his arm out to place on Ron's shoulder comfortingly.
"No, you're scaring me!" Ron shouted back, pushing Harry's arm away aggressively.
Harry held his hands next to his head as if to surrender and backed away slowly at Ron's outburst.
"You two should get some rest," Hermione said calmly, studying our current jumpy state. "You'll feel better in the morning."
Harry and Hermione turned to exit my room, the both of them whispering back and forth as they did so.
"What on Earth are they trying to do to us?" I asked, throwing my hands up in exasperation.
"I have no bloody idea," he muttered under his breath, taking a seat on my bed and rubbing the sides of his head with his hands. "But they're taking the whole thing a bit too far."
I sighed and sat down next to him. "They'll forget about the whole prank in the morning," I reassured him. "Let's just get some rest, like Hermione said."
"Okay," Ron huffed, standing up and trudging toward the door. "I don't want to have to talk to Harry right now. I'm going to try and ignore him."
"Yes, because you being mad at people never ends up with you forgetting why you were mad in the first place as soon as they make you laugh," I teased sarcastically, while Ron just shook his head and grinned.
"I'm serious. This time, I'm not talking to him." He turned to looked at me as he stood in the doorway. "Not until he admits he's messing with us."
"Okay," I smiled, following up behind him in the door frame. "You do that."
"I will," he grinned, placing his hands on either side of my face and kissing my forehead softly. "Happy one month, darling," he smiled. "I love you."
"I love you too," I replied, grinning at him stupidly as he walked out the door.

"Time for breakfast!" Ron exclaimed early the next morning. "Let's hope everyone decided to give up on the whole, 'Who's Celeste' bullshit."
