"What do you want?"

"Give us half the administrative power of the school, and we shall grant some visitations between you and your daughter..."

"..."

"Cat, or should I say, dog got your tongue?

"Fine. I shall... temporarily agree to your terms."

"Great to do business with you."

*CLICK*

"Damn you, Nicholas... "

"You're awake finally."

"Oh, good... *yawns*... morning..."

In a supposedly relaxing Saturday, my brain managed to somehow push my eyes and body to open up early in the morning. Shocking, if you included the hibernating-inducing Sunday it was then.

Luckily though, the summer heat wasn't as roasting during the sunrising hours. Still in the same attire I had been wearing the past few days, I will admit, it was getting... husky-musky underneath there. (I am now officially disgusted with myself. Thanks brain.)

But again, my brain just pulled the 'lazy switch', so... thanks again, brain.

Anyhow, rubbing my eyes, I could see the brown wolf writing something on his desk unwilling to be distracted, probably catching up on homework, which reminded me...

But in the end, I was not much in the proper vibe or mood to start working on anything anyway, so I equally gave up on that too.

Getting off the bed, I sluggishly shuffled down the room, towards the bathroom door, before coming out again a few five minutes later with cleaned fangs, and a refreshened face emptied almost al of the sleep-creases formed around my hair and probable drool stains on my cheeks.

"So... anything to do today?"

"No, unfortunately, other things are keeping me stuck on this chair."

"Hm..." I looked around, outside, and back to the back-facing Noah, and it seemed like I was destined for not being able to do anything interesting that day. *Sigh*

"Maybe you can um... clean up your side of the room."

Speaking of which, it did look like a mess that time... But still!

"Not in the mood," I blatantly said, "Can't we like, do something fun today?"

"Well, I recall Jay wanted some help this morning... maybe you can go ahead and help him."

"Fine..." I shrugged, "Where is he?"

"I think he's just upstairs, who knows what he's doing up there," he didn't flicker even a single eye contact as he continued writing in a focused speed, "You...should know where he is."

Seeing the usually nonchalant, emotionless looking Noah shudder from what he spoke...

I thought twice about it... But, the sense of needing some fun that day made me jump over the uncertainty hurdle.

Walking out with my jacket still cloaked around me (why I'm still wearing it in summer baffles me till this day), I suddenly remembered back the slip of paper that Nick gave a few days back. I took it out, revealing the crumpled picture of my *cough* father's *cough* group of friends, still filled with those strange symbols linking themselves to their circled face.

Should I go back and ask Noah about it...?

Nah, I thought, it probably wouldn't be productive anyway asking him, being busy and all. But it still bugged me...
