The Raised Memory Floodgates

"AAAAAAH!"

I screamed in an oddly squeak-ish voice I all a sudden possessed, as I felt myself falling into an endless abyss, unknown whether there was any ground level to even land my butt on.

As I continue falling however, it slowly started to feel lesser and lesser then dropping into a wormhole, and more of being stuck in a weightless, zero-gravity zone similar to space.

The it came to me. Due to the pitch-black surroundings, a panicking person would've thought this as originally an endless drop into a hole, instead of a floating expanse. And for me, it was really the latter.

Noticing this, I twisted and turned, only to result in me turning around, and around like a complete sphere rolling three-hundred-sixty degrees.

Suddenly, a powerful tug from behind me dragged me across the unbounded darkness, until I could feel some friction on my shoeless feet pads. Visibility of color returned steadily, until I could clearly see dark wooden-tiled floors that had its other characteristics blurred from the hasty speed I was being pulled.

The speed slowed down gradually, and as the floor color was clear to my eyes, paneled walls of lightening white begin to form on the sides, some with windows that blurred out the view of the other side on my right (or right if I was being pulled from the front)

And suddenly, everything came to a soul-halting stop.

*BANG* *BANG* *BANG*

The sounds of gun shot... it bristled the stuck-out furs of my ear, before a headache pulsed in aching beats all around my head. But this... this was incomparable to the last times I felt it, instead it's like... how can I put it... an opening floodgate to release the power of a violent sea into my brain.

The pain was practically blinding me, since I didn't even notice the appearance of two familiar figures I have seen eerily too much in these flashback-like scenes.

"Zack, w-what's that sound?"

"It's them. They've found us."

"I... I can't believe it."

"Bring him to the backroom. At least... he can wait for Thom' to pick him up when he comes tomorrow."

These two characters, they were the exact same people I saw in my supposed memory flash in the cafe that day... and the lady was the same that appeared in both the piano dream and sunset dream...

This was getting weird, and... somewhat a bit deja vu...

I could feel myself being weightless again, before being planted onto someone's chest emitting a herbal scent, or more specifically, a pleasant spice-like smell similar to a yarrow's. And as I held onto the stranger's shoulder as the only ledge line, I could hear the loud heels click-clacking onto the wood, all in barely any periods of silence in between.

I looked up, where upfront I saw nothing but an endless hall lit up by pale moonlight, while a tall figure ran the opposite way of where I was being carried to. Slowly, their pure white fur and black tuxedo disappeared, followed by their back, and then their bushy tail being the last thing I could remember seeing them physically own.

My vision blurred intensely, the sensation of one paw placed on my back and an arm I was sitting on in a secured position, quickly drifted away. And suddenly, I found myself in darkened surroundings, with only a heavy-looking door opened widely as the only light source. And right in the door frame, was the same lady that had carried me, crouching with her polo dress draped across the visibly white, marble tiles of a kitchen.

"I..." she hesitated, looking downwards, before gazing back at me, this time possessing a seemingly warm smile, "Sky, you will grow up, grow up to be a better person than anything me and your father will ever become."
