"What are your plans then, Professor?"

"Well, without any further obstacles left, I should be able to finish preparing for my--our, goal,  sooner or later, by the beginning of next year."

"Alright. What about the Headmistress and the rest of the faculty??

"Rest assured, the faculty and students altogether, are completely oblivious, but for the Headmistress, I'm afraid she is an unknown variable in this case."

"I see... well, not to worry. As long as we reach our goal by the deadline I had specified."

"Understood, Chairman."

"Also, Professor, I have heard from a few flies that you are... conspiring against me? I do hope this isn't true."

"Utter nonsense, Chairman, you know where my loyalty goes."

"Good to know. You do know the consequences of betraying my trust, do you not?"

"Yes, Chairman..."

"What did you say!?"

"Thomas, Sky, your son, has regained consciousness last night."

"I... Oh...I... I am uh... a-are you sure!?"

"I'm his attending doctor, of course I am sure," a softened laugh came from their side, "but save your words, Tom, you need to get here. now."

"Y-Yes yes, I will, and thank you, thank you so much, Charles."

"Cuz.. Cuz..."

"Yes, what is it?" Reading a very much enticing magazine I had nabbed from a shelf, somewhere Downtown, promising some kind of efficient, crocheting method (especially after destroying the last one...), it was forced to be lowered as an... oddly panting wolf approached my bench, in the quiet sides of the forest-like Wyerside Park, "And calm your engines, I doubt I would hear you anyway with that."

"That... that's not the point now... l-listen Cuz," although hunching frontwards, with paws on his knees, the exhausted Jay managed to gather enough energy to direct his blue eyes to the other pair of mossy-green eyes in front, "It's....I-It's about that wolf mate of yours..."

"Sky?" I lowered and placed the color-printed paper onto to the water-moisturized wood I sat on, blinking a few times before focusing back, "What about him?"

"He... he finally... woke up."

"Are you sure?" I questioned, the muscles in my paws tensing, "Are you absolutely sure?"

"Yes, Cuz, the Doctor... he called."

"Ok," I... admittedly, was taken aback to knowing of his awakening, since I was thinking...

Forget it, I thought, no point of speaking those thoughts now. And truly, what's more important was the fact that Sky had woken up, and I must... I must go there, to at least disperse the heaviness in my heart.

Pulling the brown cover of the wooly messenger bag over the magazine-inserted interior compartment, I simply signaled overly familiar hand movements over to the wolf as the bag was strapped across my grey over-coated-back, where he simply nodded off...

Get the driver.
