Third Person POV
Ella sticks at the back of the group. Making sure to keep a distance between herself and the group. But also staying close enough to make sure she doesn't lose any of them. They are all going in the correct direction.... That is until Ritchie makes a wrong turn. And he begins to go away from the precinct. "Ritchie." Ella says loudly, but not too loud to alert any nearby zombies. Ritchie along with the rest of the boys stop walking and turn to look at the hooded girl. "Yeah, Ella?" Ritchie asks.
"You're going the wrong way." Ella tells Ritchie. Making him look around and then look back at her confused. Xylo begins to laugh at Ritchie. Ella shakes her head and chuckles softly. "You just made a wrong turn. Come on, let's get back on track." Ella says as she turns around. "Yeah ok" Ritchie says jogging up to be by Ellas' side. "I really made a wrong turn... Am i starting to forget things?" Ritchie asks Ella quietly. "No Ritchie, I don't think you're forgetting things. But you got to remember the city doesn't look like it used to. And you have been away for quite a while." Ella explains to Ritchie a little. Making him calm down slightly.
"But, how do you remember?" Ritchie asks Ella. "Ritchie, I have both a Photographic and Eidetic memory. I remember everything I have ever seen, heard, said, and done. So things like going places are no trouble for me. If I see it on a map, I remember it. If I have been there, I remember it. Hell if someone tells me where it is, I will remember it." Ella tells Ritchie. "Really?" Ritchie asks, not fully believing her. "Ask me anything." Ella tells Ritchie. He pauses and thinks for a moment. "What was the first thing I said to you?" Ritchie asks.
"Ok, the first thing you said to me while I was running from you? Or when we actually had a conversation?" Ella asks. "....Both." Ritchie tells her. "When I was running for you, you yelled at me saying 'Get Back Here You Delinquent!' And when we actually had a conversation you first said to me. 'Why did you steal the medication? You don't look sick?' And I told you it was for my little brother who was sick." Ella tells him. Ritchie smiles "Then I bought you the medication that you needed and drove you to your home." Ritchie says, remembering how he helped the girl years ago.
Ella smiles a little remembering how Ritchie was the first law enforcement to be kind to her. "Yeah, it was nice back then. But I got older, and you became sick of my shit." Ella says. Ritchie looks down and sighs as he nods. "Anyway, here's the precinct. Have fun, and be safe." Ella says as they walk into the parking lot. "I'm gonna go now." She says as she goes to leave. But as she does she gives Ritchie a small sign that she needs to speak with him. As Ella walks away Ritchie hurries and runs up to her.
"Wait, come here." Ritchie says as he pulls the young girl into a hug. Ella hugs him back and whispers in his ear. "Don't trust Inmo. He is dangerous and evil. Be careful with him." She whispers in the older man's ear. Ritchie gives a small nod showing he understands. Ella pulls away from the hug and smiles at the man. "Bye Ritchie." Ella says. "Bye Ella." Ritchie says back. Ella smiles at him before she turns and runs off.
Leaving the ground of four men. Three of them possibly being in danger due to one crazy man. Ella runs to a building and climbs up the side of it. The three men watching her as she does so. Ella turns and looks down at the men. She gives them a smirk then jumps off the building on the other side. So she is now out of sight of the men. Ella tucks and rolls before she gets up and begins to walk farther into the city. She walks farther and farther. Not turning back.
The only thing that is on her mind now is finding her brother. But in the back of her mind, she has a nagging feeling that something is wrong. And she can't help but feel it is because of what Inmo had done to her. But she can't think of that now. She had to find him. Lucas. Her baby brother. The only person she loves in this world. If it comes down to it one day. Ella will die to save her brother. He has to survive in this world. She will make sure of it.
