Third Person POV
After grabbing as many pills as she wants. Ella begins to make her way back outside. As she walks back to the gas station she freezes. Ella begins to hear groans of the dead coming from behind her. Ella quickly looks and sees zombies slowly walking behind her. They have all noticed her. Ella's eyes widen and she groans before she begins to jog. Wincing in pain. Ella goes back to the gas station. But to make it seem as though she is not going in there. Ella goes around to the back of the building. Once back there she sees the window that is in the back room.
Ella stacks crates on top of each other. Ella then climbs on top of the crates. Ella tries the window. Her heart racing. Luckily the odds were in her favor. And the window opened. Making it so Ella could get inside. So Ella swings inside and braces herself for the fall. Once she lands on the ground Ella groans a little in pain. But tries to keep quiet. Ella hurries and goes to where she had slept the night prior. She sits down and takes some deep breaths. Elal takes off her backpack and sits it next to her body. She then begins to take off her weapons.
Once all of her weapons are off her body Ella opens up her backpack. Ella grabs two pills and a bottle of water. She then sits the water and pills aside. Next Ella pulls out new bandages and everything she needs. Elle then takes off her pants and grabs a pair of shorts. She puts on the shorts then she begins to clean the gunshot wound. After it is cleared Ella picks up the water and pills. She then drinks some water while taking the pills. After taking the pills Ella sits the water bottle next to her and moves her bag. Her leg throbbing from walking, the fall, and irritating it with cleaning it.
Ella lays down and waits for the pills to kick in. Knowing that the pills she took are stronger than pain relievers. So soon enough Ella knows she will be high. She just hopes she does nothing stu[id or dangerous. Making her glad that she had already locked the door. And put the key in the bottom of her bag. So now Ella just lays back, looks at the ceiling, and waits. She waits for the pain to go away. And waits for her head to go fuzzy. Ella knows that she will soon go into a state that she was in almost all throughout high school.
Ella feels as her body begins to buzz a little and her head becomes fuzzy and everything seems like it is a video game. The pain in her leg disappears. Ella hasn't felt this way for four years. Ella begins to quietly giggle. The munchies getting to her, so she grabs her bag and opens it. Ella pulls out a bag of chips. She begins to eat while staring at the wall. Her mind buzzing along with her leg. It doesn't take long for Ella to finish the chips. And when she does she lays down. Ella pulls a blanket over her body and quickly falls asleep. The pills making her very tired.
The next time Ella walks up is basculase she hears gunfire outside of the gas station. The affects of the pills now gone making her completely sober. So Ella stands up grabs her weapons and puts them on her body. She then gets the key and unlocks the door. Being careful Ella walks to the door that leads to the outside. She looks outside and sees a guy with blue hair fighting ten zombies. Ella sighs and grabs one of her guns. Ella shoots the zombies one by one. Hitting each of them in the brain and killing them on the spot.
The man looks at Ella "Hey, than-" before he can continue talking. Ella grabs her bag off the ground and quickly walks out of the gas station and away from the man. "Hey, wait!" He says jogging to Ella. She glares at the man then turns and begins to run from him. "Wait!" He yells out. But she ignores him and runs. Not wanting to get caught by any zombies that were attracted by the gun shots. So she continues to run, ignoring the man and the pain in her calf.
It doesn't take her long to get away from the man. She lost him by weaving through the building. Ella takes a deep breath and louts out a long sigh. Ella begins to walk like normal and keeps her eyes out for anything that could hurt her. Ella walks into a random house and looks around for anything she can use. Ella finds a cloak, and a duffle bag. Ella smirks and dumps out her backpack. She quickly changes her wounds dressings. And cleans her wound. She goes through all of her supplies. And puts everything into the newly found duffle bag.
Ella then stands up and puts on the cloak. Pulling the hood up over her head she looks into a mirror. "Badass.' She says to herself quietly. The hood making it so she can see perfectly fine. But you can only see her mouth. Ella hums as she cuts holes in the back of the cloak. She then puts her katanas through the holes so she can get them out easily. Ella grabs the duffle bag and puts it over her shoulder. She takes one last look at herself and gives a nod along with a smirk.
