Third Person POV
Ella is the first person awake the next morning. David fell asleep during his watch so Ella wakes him up. "I'm going to scout ahead to make sure the coast is clear." Ella tells the older man. "Okay, be back here in thirty minutes. Or else we're leaving you." David says to the criminal. Ella salutes him and runs out of the building. She runs around the town for a while. A few zombies here and there but nothing bad. That is until she sees a hord. There may be 100 or more zombies all walking together.
Ella runs back to the group. When she gets back they are all leaving the alley way. "What way are we going?" Ella asks the boys. "Where was you?" Lucas asks. "We're going that way." Leo says as he points the opposite way of the zombies. "Thank god." Ella says with a sigh. "Wait why do you ask?" David asks. "Well there's a horde of 100 or more zombies going that way." Ella says as she points back to where she can from. They all talk for a minute then they all start to head out. But as they all walk Lucas notices Ellas limp.
"Ella, Why are you limping?" Lucas asks. The other two look at the girl. Ella chuckles and looks at her leg. "Got shot not too long ago. Hasn't healed all the way yet." Ella says with a shrug. "You got shot and you didn't tell me?!" Lucas says, looking at his sister with wide eyes. "Yeah, I've gotten shot two times since this all started, I've also gotten captured three times. It's not that big of a deal." Ella says with another shrug. "Oh lets not forget I got caught in a bear trap." Ella says with a small chuckle.
"Why didn't you tell me?!?!" Lucas asks again. "It's not bad. I got shot so many times before the apocalypse." Ella says as she keeps walking. "But that was when there were hospitals." Lucas says as he walks after his sister. You think I went to hospitals before the world ended. Hell no." Ella says with a laugh. "What! You said you went to them before!" Lucas says, how eyes wide. "No, I said I got it taken care of. I had a friend that taught me how to deal with getting shot." Ella says with a shrug. "How many times have you gotten shot?" David asks.
"Ohhh that's a tough question. I stopped counting after six." Ella says as she kills a zombie. "And how does that make you feel?" Leo asks. Lucas and David groan. "I mean, I do deserve to be shot. So i guess fine." Ella says with a shrug. "Yeah, how many people have you killed again?" David asks, his eyes sharp. "Truth be told, i only killed two people before the world ended. And both of them were self defense. Then after all this happened I killed six people. All of them were cannibals and were trying to eat me." Ella says truthfully.
"You killed people before this all happened?" Lucas asks, his eyes wide with a hint of fear. "You remember Jake and Ethan?" Ella asks Lucas. "Yeah." Lucas says. "You those two. They tried to kill me because I wouldn't kill someone for them. So i killed them then set the person they wanted me to kill free." Ella says as she looks around a corner to make sure there's no zombies. "That makes since." Lucas says as he nods. "Hold up! Did you say cannibals?!" David asks with wide eyes. "Yeahi did. It was a group of 30 or so people. Mostly men. And they tried to capture me and eat me." Ella says.
"What did you do to get away?" Leo asks. "Shot one of them to distract them all. Then shot into the sky. Zombies came and started eating them. I shot a few more guys and ran. That's when I got shot the first time." Ella says as they all walk. "How are you not traumatized?" David asks with wide eyes. Ells laughs "Who says I'm not?" Ella asks back. Lucas smiles a little and nods his head. Ella turns around as she walks. "Lucas imagine not having trauma!" Ella says with a laugh. Lucas laughs as well and shakes his head.
It doesn take long for the four of them to make it to the boys place. Ella smirks a little when she notices it's a barn. She watches from the side lines as Lucas cleans up David's cut from being shot at. She listens as David gets on a call with someone over a radio. "Okay Ell, Let me see where you got shot." Lucas says as he walks over to his sister. "Ah so you want me to take off my pants around two other dudes." Ella says with a smirk, knowing how protective Lucas is. "What! No! Go into the bathroom and put on a pair of shorts!" Lucas says.
Ella laughs and gets into her bag. She pulls out a pair of short shorts. She walks into the bathroom and quickly changes. She walks back out and sits down for her brother. "Okay I'm going to unwrap it." Lucas says as he kneels down to clean his sister's wound. He looks at the wound and lets out a happy sigh. "Give it to me straight, doc. Wait no give it to me gay. Will I make it?" Ella says as she tries not to laugh. Lucas chuckles and shakes his head. "Hey guys...." Leo says as he turns the corner and sees the two.
