chapter eleven - part one | big time beach party

Rosalie stood in the lobby of Rocque Records patiently with the guys, awaiting for the arrival of Griffin after having called him that morning to come down to the studio for some news. The blonde's hair was in a short ponytail that swayed each time she bounced on the balls of her feet. She was wearing a very pale pink shirt that was lazily tucked into her red skirt and a green cardigan that was thrown over it. She had on a pair of white sneakers, deciding to give her feet a break from the heels.

The blonde brightened up when she saw Griffin heading towards them with his assistant behind him, ready to give him the news.

"Ah, it's the boys I own." Griffin greeted the four. Rosalie's eyebrows furrowed in confusion at his statement, exchanging a look with James and Logan who had the same face.

Kendall seemed to ignore the comment as he immediately questioned the CEO, "Griffin, do you remember the deal you made with us?"

"The one where you catch and destroy my clone and I buy you all jetpacks?"

Carlos shook his head, "No."

"Wait." Rosalie said, gaining the attention on her. She raised an eyebrow as she looked between her friends and the older man. "That's an actual deal between you guys?" The five nodded in response.

"The deal where you let us use your Malibu beach house for the day if we get-" Logan started, allowing for James to finish as he brought out the record, "-a number one record!" The five started cheering as James handed the record to Griffin.

Gustavo spoke up as he walked out from the studio with Kelly, "It's true. Big Time Rush officially has a number one record."

"In Kerplankistan." Griffin said, attempting to deny the deal. Fortunately, the guys had already seen this outcome and had planned ahead for it.

"Rosalie." The boys immediately said.

The blonde took a step forward, "Speaking as the spokesperson of Big Time Rush, technically, you never said where they had to have their number one record. Therefore, the deal still stands."

Griffin smirked at the blonde, "Well played." The guys cheered as Rosalie smiled in triumph. "Now, there are two rules in my beach house. One, don't go near my priceless Ming vase collection. Two, don't even look at my car collection." Griffin explained as he pulled out the keys for the beach house and held them up. "Enjoy - or don't. I don't care."

He tossed the keys to Rosalie who easily caught them. As she held them up, she noticed the lack of noise from her four friends and sighed, "Here we go." She turned around to find all four of them in their own fantasy world of the beach.

"How long do they do this?" Griffin asked, gesturing to the four.

Kelly shrugged, "It's hard to say." Gustavo nodded in agreement, "They once did it for three hours."

Griffin nodded before asking another question, "How do you snap them out of it?"

Kelly and Gustavo pointed towards Rosalie who had a megaphone in her hand. The blonde smirked, raising up the megaphone and yelling into it, "Hey!" The guys all screamed in surprise and they were brought out of their fantasies. She laughed, "I love doing that." Her laughter slowly stopped as she noticed four angry glares directed towards her. Throwing the megaphone to the side, she started backing up slowly. "Oh, and this is the part where I run!"

Rosalie screamed as she turned around and ran out of the studio, the four chasing after her.
