chapter twelve | big time songwriters
Rosalie was sat next to Kelly in the control room of the studio, overviewing the new songwriters hired for Big Time Rush - Daryl and Jam Box. The two were brought in to help write Big Time Rush's new hit song that would premier on their new deluxe album as a bonus track, per Griffin's wishes. However, the experience wasn't going well between the duo and Rosalie could already feel the anger and tension building between the two.
A pair of arms snaked around her from behind and the blonde felt a presence behind her. Glancing up, she smiled as she found James already glancing down at her with a smile of his own
"You're all glammed up." James noticed, his voice in a whisper. "Do you have interviews today?"
It was true - Rosalie was more dressed up than usual. The blonde was wearing a matching blazer and shorts set that had a blue, grey, and black pattern design. She had on a plain black shirt underneath her blazer and was wearing a pair of black heels. Her blue clutch laid on the soundboard in front of her. Rosalie had yet to put on her purple wig, which explained her blonde hair pulled into a messy bun.
"Yeah." Rosalie sighed, glancing back to the studio. "We're discussing some new plans for my career. Publicity stunts, acting gigs, all of that."
As the two were in their conversation, they barely noticed the looks sent towards them by the rest of the company in the room. Their relationship had been a long time coming and once they had finally made it official and announced it, everyone was ecstatic about the news. Of course, this had led to a meeting between the couple and Gustavo and Kelly as they went over some new measures to take in order to separate the relationship between Rosalie and James and the relationship between Juliette and James.
Overall though, everyone was happy with the new relationship.
Especially the two who found a new sense of comfort with one another.
Turning away from the couple, Kendall looked through the glass and questioned, "So, uh, what's with fanboy and chum chum?"
"That is Daryl and Jam Box," Kelly introduced, glancing to the four boys with a smile, "your new songwriters."
They all jumped in surprise as Griffin appeared outside the glass. He grinned, "I'm releasing a deluxe edition of your album and I want the bonus track to have a fresh new sound."
"Oh, so that's why Gustavo's pouting." Logan commented. Rosalie and Kelly exchanged a look as they stood up from their seats and turned around from the others to face the upset Gustavo.
Gustavo, who was sitting in the chair in the studio with his arms crossed, glared at Logan, "I'm not pouting! You're pouting."
"Everyone uses other songwriters, Gustavo." Griffin said, walking up towards the man and sitting next to him. "Katy Perry, Maroon 5. And Daryl and Jam Box are the hottest songwriters out there."
James' eyebrows furrowed in confusion, "Aren't they the ones who fight a lot?"
At his question, everyone turned back towards the studio where it seemed the fight was just beginning. It started as a simple disagreement which led to being pushed off the piano chair, a guitar being smashed, one of them getting thrown into a table and then being thrown into a drum set. Rosalie winced as one of them was pushed against the glass harshly.
"That's going to leave a bruise." The blonde whispered, the guys nodding in agreement.
Griffin only grinned, "This is going to be a great song."
"Guys, heads up!" Carlos yelled, his eyes wide, "They're coming in!"
Everyone started screaming as the two fighting songwriters came in through the recording booth.
